Suddenly, an encounter...

It’s finally released, up to the end of the Dila Island Arc

Couple of known bugs here

There’s not actually an exit from the main temple on Dila Island, you have to complete the inner sanctum and get the item, and that exit will put you outside of the temple. Since there is a workaround, I’ll fix this in 1.1.x

Alice learns holy, but she doesn’t, really, because of the way I labelled skills in the engine. Since there’s no battles, I’ll fix this in 1.1.x

A couple of the purity statues aren’t working, but purity is still so trivial, it’s annoying. I’ll try and retune purity again in 1.1.x

Mapping for the next chapter is underway! I’ve nearly finished the next town, and I have one more town and one more dungeon to map out before I can start adding in events and battles.

As this screengrab suggests, things are starting to take a darker turn. As you’ve been freeing the North, the witches have been consolidating their power, and don’t think they haven’t taken notice of what you’re doing, either.

Honestly, I’m really only tying up a few loose ends.

The maps for the next release are all completed. There’s a few more complicated events to finish up, and I’d say probably five more simpler ones and then a final scene that will be mostly talking

There is a LOT of talking in this release, but also a lot of corruption. I also want to tune the numbers a bit to make Mana and Purity a bit more meaningful for both characters. Once all that’s done, I’ll link up the maps, do an internal test to make sure all the events are executing, and let it out into the world.

Probably won’t see a lot of mature content out of Witch Quest, as it’s becoming much, much more story driven as of this next update, but it will certainly be suggestive. And there will be plenty of ways to willingly submit to your corruption, don’t worry about that.

Believe me, I’m probably looking forward to the next update just as much. I am plugging away at it, slowly but surely, and hope to have it out soon.
