“Hm.” Was all he bothers to utter in reply. He can’t help but have some vague feeling that she had ill intentions. Perhaps he was being a bit too quick to judge but whatever the case, he wanted her to leave. Maybe that was what she was after but he doubted it. That’d be a bit too easy.

”The States? I see. Can’t say that I would know about that sorta thing. There’s an underground doctor who lives nearby by the name of Shinra if you’re lookin’ for him by any chance?” Her story didn’t seem all that obscure from what he could tell. Yet something seemed a bit off as well. Even if she did intend on going further into the city, he would be sure to keep a close eye on her.

It was progressively obvious he wasn't about to give her the benefit of the doubt. That was fine, though, she had kept up her poker face when met with considerably more suspicion. This was easy enough.

"Underground? Goodness, no, nothing like that...!" He was certainly jumping to what could easily sound like vague accusations. Two could play at that game; but she might keep that information in mind despite her doubts it would be of any use. "Forgive me, but why does a child like yourself know about someone like that? He sounds like he could be...shady, perhaps..."

He couldn’t quite put his finger on what it was but there was definitely something he didn’t like about her. He didn’t plan on letting onto to it, though. Who knows, perhaps he was being a bit too paranoid. He was notorious for that by now. But he couldn’t help but pick up the same vibes from her that he had always gotten whenever he was around the informant. He definitely had a notion that she was up to no good.

This boy seemed awfully level for someone who had just offered to help a stranger on the street. Medusa took a mental note of it, but continued with the pleasant act. "Goodness, I guess I was just that deep in thought."

"I believe I've been finding my way just fine, but I haven't been here before, no. I work as a nurse for an academy in the States, you see, and came to learn about some new medical developments." This was, true to her nature, not entirely a lie, but not all there was to the story.

A chill ran down his spine, leaving him a bit cold when he felt a presence standing not only a few feet behind him. With a turn of his head, he tried to keep the nervous expression from appearing but ultimately, his efforts had failed him.

“Can I help you with anything, miss?”

"Hm?" She glanced at the owner of the voice, stopping her already slow pace and breaking from her thoughts. She put her friendly demeanor into place.

"Oh my, am I being offered help? I must have looked quite lost." She had a lot to think about; she had learned a considerable deal during her visit to this place, and of course it would help her get up to no good.

Ignoring a roleplayers rules/about/headcanons - They make these for a reason, usually spending a lot of time and effort on them and if you take the time to read them, you can avoid getting into problems while RPing with them.

Harassing someone about replying to your thread - A gentle reminder every now and again is fine (and usually welcome), but constant bombardment of their ask box complaining you aren’t getting as much attention as other thread partners is rude.

Interrupting someone else’s thread without prior discussion/permission - If you have an issue with the mun/muse, talk to them in a private message about it.

Ignoring repeated requests from someones muse (or the mun) to cease a particular activity due to reasons that may be distressing them. ie, triggers, etc.

Expecting mun to drop everything to answer your thread - RL and mun’s health comes before any thread.
