Order & Chaos

Valt examined curiously at her wings, black on her right and white on the left. Though strange that it was neither completely white or black, the fact that there existed an angel was startling amazing. Even if he has seen fantasy creatures of various kinds here already, it still didn’t take away his awe of them.

“An archangel, that’s super cool!” Done staring at her wings, he circled back to face her properly. “I’m Aoi Valt! Are there lots of other archangels like you too??”

Of course. She remembered them. She knew them all and always wondered how they were doing. Despite what she says and how much trouble she causes them - she misses hem. She had to imagine if they were trying to figure out where she ad went. Does anyone know she’s gone? 

No. Nows not the time to think about something like that. She had a little kid to impress here!

“Uh-huh. We came to the sector together, but I accidentally let go of his hand, and lost him in a crowd. Even though he told me to stay where he was, I got pushed by people and ended up here…”

“When I was with him, he was human… But if he’s looking for me, then he probably looks like a dragon right now. He’ll either be a giant green dragon or a tiny green dragon… Probably tiny?”

Tasuku raised his head and scanned the skies, but found no such dragon soaring about.

“Uu… I can’t see him at all… Maybe we’re too far away…”

Huh. So all those little stories about always being near your guardian and even holding their hand were true. She’s heard those stories when she was younger, Jibiril used to tell her all the time. She never believed them but looks like.. Ha. 

Metatron made sure she had a good grip on Tasuku so he didn’t fall off, or have some stranger come up and try to grab him from her. 

❛   If you feel tired, go ahead and close your eyes. I’ve got a good enough description of him. I’ll be able to get him if needed.  ❜

She’d keep an eye out, she knew how to. Nothing got past her - she still had her eagle-sight and amazing hearing after all. She’d help out the kid.

“UWAAHH!!” Never mind the fact that she spoke to him, in a rude manner at that, were those wings behind her? Immediately Valt circled around to check if they were real and not just a cosplay thing.

“Ahhh! They are real! You’re an angel!! I didn’t know there was an angel here!”

Wait-- Did he just ignore her-!? What was..! Of course, there’s a small swell of pride when he speaks of her wings and how excited he looks. He doesn’t have too know she’s actually a fallen angel.

Of course she was going to say all this stuff and impress the kid even more.

“…archangel?” He had never heard of that term before. “….we do not have any of those things you speak of where I am from. …though I suppose you could compare hollows to demons and shinigami to angels, but that idea is simply laughable.” In more ways than one. Even comparing his hell to the depictions humans had was laughable, namely because it was different in many ways.

“I find religion laughable as well as useless, though not caring is a good option, as well.”

He found himself smirking. “I am Shuren.”

She waved her hand, dismissing the topic. She REALLY didn’t want to talk about something as boring such as this. She didn’t come here to talk and have tea time over this type of thing.

That wasn’t suppose to come off as RUDE. She just hasn’t seen some who seemed and looked so.. Happy? Maybe she shouldn’t judge. Human children were always weird.

Shuren let out a chuckle at her words. “Hardly. When I hear humans prattle on about their ideas of hell, they are a far cry from the one I dwell in. This ‘bible version’ of hell you speak of is just another of human’s piss poor attempt to explain things that they have no knowledge of.

I will admit, however, that some of their ideas overlap with the place I am from, but that is more of a coincidence than anything else.”

He paused for a moment to take in her words, which only increased his curiosity. “…I take it that this you speak of is truly hellish?” It had to be if she refused to speak of it.

Of course it was. It was the cause of her fall, after all! She tried to help them! She was betrayed by the demons and was experimented on -- tortured. Split her soul into two! Of course that place was awful! She hated it! She was there to learn all of their secrets, so she could destroy them all later. That.. and she wasn’t welcomed back into Heaven. She had no where else to really go.

So she knew everything and how it worked. The fun works - how humans were when it came to that topic, it was stupid.

“How different, if you do not mind me asking?” From past experiences, it seemed that Hell differed from world to world, which he found fascinating. “The one I am used to has several levels and is for those condemned for their sins.

…and you would not be wrong; this city is truly its own special brand of bullshit.” He would know, having been here quite a while in the past.

.... No. She really didn’t want to talk about it. She didn’t care that she was here but a place like this was getting her mind off her place. She shook her head, scowling. 

“…you have been to hell, as well? I do not recall seeing you there.

Regardless, I do have to agree with you. …then again, some days this place can be its own hell.”

“Hell, apparently.”

His eyes lit up again at Metatron’s offer.

“You’d really do that…?”

He tried to restrain his eagerness, he really did, but Tasuku had been walking for quite some time now, and his little legs and feet were hurting. The notion of being able to rest while looking for Jack at the same time was inviting.

So he nodded. “Yes, please… I think that would help a lot…”

He held up his little arms so that it would be easier for Metatron to pick him up.

She picked him up without a moments hesitation. Setting Tasuku up on her shoulders and waited until he got comfortable.

So there where other people who could transform that were outside the steel congress..Hm. She should have expected a place with different types of people. Anyway, that wasn’t what she was worrying about at the moment.
