An excise with reference to the <Megatron Origin

Ooh, you know despite the obvious size difference, OP’s ultimate sass, and Megs’ classiness this isn’t a pairing I think about enough in tfa.

shops for groceries

Optimus does it without even really thinking about it. Megatron’s not impressed with the grade he came back with and OP tells him to go himself next time. They both go next time.

kills the spiders

Optimus. Optimus kills the spiders. Optimus kills the spiders in a phobic frenzy. Megatron’s never seen him move so fast. The spider has been annihilated. 

comes home drunk at 3am

It doesn’t happen often, but every once in a while Optimus will and he’ll rant about Sentinel for a good half megacycle before finally collapsing into recharge. He always, always has a massive hangover the next morning. Megatron can hold his drink and certainly never stumbles home at 3 in the morning. 

makes breakfast

Megs likes to eat fine foods, and he’s surprisingly good at making them. (though really is it any wonder when he’s also got his own blend of oil?)

remembers to feed the fish

Optimus. They’re his fish after all. Well actually, they were originally Bumblebee’s fish but after a series of helmache inducing events they have now become Optimus’ fish. But they still have all the names Bee gave them, OP didn’t think it would be fair to the fish to rename them.

decorates the apartment

Megatron. He is after all the classy one. Optimus doesn’t really agree with all of it, but it’s fine. 

initiates duets

Oh wow. When Op’s had a bit to drink he’ll initiate duets. Megatron sings to himself around the house sometimes and Optimus thinks he has a really nice voice, so he goes out of his way to get him to do it from time to time.

falls asleep first
