Archangel

Gold eyes look sharply at the  creature in front of her. Please  try...she needs amusement.

“Life...what is life for us?”

“I’m not as sweet as I used to be.”

“I failed...I must be punished for my failure.”

Her wings arched to be free every now and then. How big they were, how glorious! They stretched so far and wide, Gabriel sighing in slight relief. Not knowing…the person that was nearby.

She looked at him, sort of a blank expression. She was always blank, void of emotion. “Yes actually,” she replied, her voice musical and smooth. “I was wondering if you collected old bibles.”

She stepped into the store, gold eyes scanning the millions and millions of  books he possessed. She  had to admit...he had a well put collection.
