genuinely in my mind i've moved on from the fact that kit and ty haven't spoken in 4 years and are angry with themselves and each other in a way that makes reconciliation seem impossible to them because so much of the information we've gotten is like. Road trip! Sharing music! Funny travel shenanigans! Pride parade! Loaning each other important personal effects! Solving personal mysteries together that requires some level of secret sharing and honesty! Holding hands! 0.5 seconds from making out in a doorway!

so when i open the book and they're not speaking or arguing with each other/pushing each other away i'm gonna be like aww. but why :(
