I've been a practicing polytheist for about 15 years now, and I've been worshipping Dionysus for 4 years

I'm also an animist and practice trancework and spiritwork that is largely informed by Mediterranean folk practices, my own Indigenous cultural background, and trial and error hah

I also practice divination and a bit of oneiromancy

other deities I worship are Apollo, Hermes and Eros (my blogs dedicated to them are @farshootinggod, @gladheartedgod and @keystohearts). I also honor Ariadne, Semele and Ampelos, and give respect to all of the Gods

I'm also an artist! I post my art on my main, @vdoes (likes and follows also come from there). I run a 21+ Dionysian discord server as well

I think most of my tags are pretty self-explanatory, but an explanation for these two:

#ndn: every once in a while I may post things related to being Native and this is the tag I use for that

#dionysus vibes: something that is not explicitly about Dionysus but makes me think of them

#reading: sometimes I'll share bits I find interesting from books I'm currently reading

I'm also an adult, so some of the things I post/reblog may contain mature content

having an intense spiritual experience or trance session and then getting it down on paper is a way to check and go over what happened with more clarity. it puts the experience in a tangible Place that I can reexamine, check against primary sources or other experiences, etc.

and I suppose a post could act similarly to a journal entry, but then I have to ask myself what benefit it would be to the strangers seeing it. and most of the time there isn't one. when D and I talk, they're speaking to me, not me and my followers
