Aronil wolfed down the sweet roll and examined the two weapons that she handed him. Glass and elven, he wouldn’t have it any other way. “Perhaps I shall take you up on that offer. I must admit, I’m surprised by the elegance of these but I would expect nothing less from a Thalmor.” He placed the sword in his own pack but kept the dagger at his side.
He followed her out into the chilly Skyrim morning, the cold air sending shivers down his spine. His Thalmor robes weren’t nearly enough to keep him warm. “This is miserable, I can’t wait to get started.”
The guards ignored them completely, thank the eight. “So, where to first?” He asked in a whisper, gold-yellow eyes darting around for anyone else listening. As excited as he was to get going for the sake of the Dominion, he thought it best to exercise caution.
She cast her companion a glance, and snickered quietly at his obvious discomfort. Arin didn’t blame him; Skyrim weather was positively hideous. And so she reached into her back, sifting around until she felt the familiar cloth of her cloak. Her armor- what with the spikes- didn’t allow her to wear it, but his robes should’ve been fine.
Arin tossed Aronil the cloak, thinking with a distasteful ‘hmph’ that the colours would clash. She shrugged her pack onto her shoulder, pinning a guard with an icy stare. “You looked cold,” offered Arin, saying no more.
At his whisper, she cracked him an excited grin. Pressing down the urge to bounce was becoming increasingly difficult. “First, we head to the Sanctuary. From there, we can trek to the one by the Falkreath Stormcloak camp; preferably without alerting them. Though, if we do, I’m certainly happy to clear it. Shall we, my friend?”
He was all too grateful for the cloak she tossed him, he snatched it out of the air and wasted no time draping it on himself. “I’m always cold in this dreadful land.” He replied a he hugged the cloak closer to his shoulders.
“That sounds like an excellent plan, especially when there’s the possibility of burning Stormcloaks to death.” Aronil knew that it would be better for them if they didn’t face any unnecessary trouble but he was always down for killing an entire camp of Nord scum. “Let us be off then, for the glory of the Dominion!” The Justiciar said with a malicious grin on his face as he started the trek down the path ahead of them, still clinging to the cloak.
