âOh I donât know, I seem to be pretty good at getting myself in trouble either way. Maybe you should be worried.â TâCharra says with a grin, though he hopes she doesnât take him too seriously. Not that heâs not telling the truth of course, TâCharra has a knack for getting himself into trouble, but he doesnât want Peggy to be scared off by that of course. Sheâs bound to find out eventually, but.. right now, he wants to spend as much time with her as he can. He takes a few generous sips of his drink, glad to see heâs nearly finished with it, before answering her question. âOf course not, only the real special ones.â He says with another wink, absolutely aware that heâs getting a little ridiculous but he doesnât really have the sense or sobriety to really care. Will he regret it later? Maybe. Right now? Heâs not thinking all that much about it, just enjoying his time with her. âWell English isnât my first language so that definitely counts as one. And I need to say - English is a really weird language.â He chuckles and shrugs a shoulder. âTheyâre all human though, youâre right. Not a lot of chance to learn alien languages when youâre stuck on Earth but Iâll get there eventually.â He grins and nods his head. âShe definitely is. Sheâs - the head of her field, so sheâs pretty amazing. Iâm lucky I get to learn from her. Tech is definitely my favourite, but sheâs been teaching me all kinds of things.â
âyou make it sound like you donât need me around,â she speaks with a shrug beginning to pull away from him just slightly. âmaybe i should leave,â she doesnât stray that far. mags had always had a habit of choosing the course that would cause her the most trouble between picking fights with people or having the wrong friends. she was however hoping that tâcharra wasnât about to fall into the same category. though right now she didnât think sheâd care either way. so long as tonight was fun, she didnât want to think as far away as the next morning. âmhmm,â she replied with a giggle unsure how much she believed him in that moment. just because of the way he flirted with her she could tell that he was probably the type to do this often. not that she couldnât claim the same about of herself. âguess i really have fooled you then huh,â she comments taking a few more sips of her drink. âoh it is, and thatâs before you take into account accents and dialects,â she nods. if she was honest mags would admit sheâs more than a little bit of a nerd when it came to linguistics. it was why she didnât mine learning so many. âiâll teach you some if you want... if you can put up with me for so long,â she jokes. âshe sounds incredible honestly,â mags takes the last sip of her drink then before taking the bold move to reach for the otherâs hand. âyou done?â
