hi! you can call me will or dove, any pronouns, and this is my blog for taking oc (original character) moodboard requests! i follow and like from @bumbling-bumblebee but you might know me from other blogs too :]

RULES— before you request a moodboard, please read these rules all the way through! and then go read this post about how to submit a request.

• anyone can request, as long as my pinned post says “open” above!

• please be polite when requesting and remember that i’m doing this for free and have limited energy. your moodboard will get done when it gets done, it could be a day or it could be months! consider it a surprise gift instead of an expectation :]

• i’m allowed to say no to requests for any reason. i will private-answer your ask if this happens

• anon requests are not allowed since you will need to submit images of your ocs, but if you’d like me to tag a sideblog instead when i post the moodboard just let me know in your ask!

• one request at a time, please! wait until i finish your last moodboard request before you request again (mutuals can ignore this rule)

• please do not repost my moodboards on any other social media site. you can do whatever else you want with the moodboards i make for your ocs; save them, use them as a pfp, add them to a post about your oc (with credit), share them with friends through private messages, print them out, edit them, etc. i just ask that you don’t remove my username signature.

• no AI. don’t send me AI reference images.

• examples of oc moodboards i’ve done in the past can be found under the tag “willowbark.boards” and the various rules posts can be found under “willowbark.info”

WILL DO:

• moodboards for fandom ocs, non-fandom ocs, sonas, self-inserts, agere ocs, any variety of system members (including fictives etc), disabled ocs, child ocs, non-human ocs

• stuffed animal/plushie moodboards

• mild nsfw themes like non-graphic blood, weapons, illness etc

WON’T DO:

• non-original fandom characters (fictives are exempt from this rule)

• multiple characters in one moodboard: one at a time, please! i might make exceptions for friends’ ocs that i’m more familiar with

• explicit nsfw themes like gore or sex, or kink-focused themes

• heavily religious themes or charaters/ocs from religion-related fandoms (generic angel/demon/god ocs and the like are fine)

• anything h*rry potter related

as i receive requests, i’ll list them here! check this post to make sure i got your ask.

• queue is empty, now is a great time to send an ask!

• make sure you’ve read the rules post first!

• send me an ask and tell me your oc’s name, pronouns, and age (a general range such as “adult” or “child” is fine). if they’re non-human please also clarify their species (ie, “alien,” “wolf,” “catgirl” etc)

• please include a reference image if possible!! this could be a picrew, art, etc; anything that will give me a decent idea of what your oc looks like. sending multiple images is fine too! (if it’s a stuffed animal/plushie request you would send me a pic of the plushie instead.) if you don’t have any reference images at all, just write a good description of their appearance in your ask.

• add some details about your oc and what kind of vibe you’d like the moodboard to have! some examples of possible things to include are the oc’s hobbies or interests, favorite colors, comfort foods, preferred style of clothes, recurring themes or tropes, their job, the setting (house? palace? outdoors? apocalypse?), any mobility aids, favorite/comfort objects, etc. you can mention as many or as few details as you think are relevant!

• if there’s anything you definitely don’t want the moodboard to include, please make sure to say so. for example, “a minecraft setting but no swords or lava please”

EXAMPLE REQUEST:

“hi, i’d like to request a moodboard for my dragon oc Claire, please! she is a child oc who uses she/her pronouns. [insert reference image here] some more info about her is that she’s from a medieval fantasy setting and she loves flying and hanging out near warm fireplaces, and she has a beloved old bunny plush she carries everywhere. her favorite color is red. please tag [insert sideblog name here]. thank you!”

• i am the only one who will see your oc’s detailed info —i will not post your request ask. i will save it as a draft to make sure i don’t lose it, and then update my WIP post with all the requests i currently have in the queue so you can see that i’m working on it. when the moodboard is done and ready to be posted, i will tag you in it to make sure you see it!

• if you don’t want your main blog to be tagged in the post, please make sure to say so and tell me the username of the sideblog you do want tagged. otherwise i will assume it’s fine to tag the blog that sent the request ask.
