Is a fanzine in celebration of the X-men and all they represent.
Some info about the zine:
Since the xmen Fandom has been more active lately and even growing bigger I thought it would be cool to make a Zine! ☺️ Especially since there aren't many xmen zines around...
The connection between X-men and exclusion/discrimination is well known. The X-men comics (movies and TV-shows) have always made a lot of people feel seen and understood . Many of us can connect to the struggles of the mutant kind and a big factor in the appeal of X-men is the “embracing yourself as you are” aspect of it. (next to amazing and fun character designs). I believe self-love is always worth promoting and I want to do that through this zine as well!
So long story short: For this zine I want to shine a light on all the mutant characters in a positive and self-uplifting way!
I will open interest checks on May 24th to see if people are interested in participating and/or buying. If enough people show interest, I will open mod applications to help me organize it. But more about that when the time comes 💖
I have already worked out a schedule for the Zine and I know what I want to include in terms of artworks, merch and more. I have also chosen a charity already but it's not set in stone yet so you will hear about that once mods are chosen!
