My opinion of the Magma Ren movie animations/comics
Magma Ren is an artist/animator who has a FNAF series called "Twisted Freddy Remake." He also creates FNAF drawings and short comics in addition to his series.
YouTube animations, animatics, comics, speedpaints, and more.
Today I'm going to talk about four videos made by this person about the Fnaf movies, which I highly recommend ❤️
In this first video, we see Afton luring Blonde Boy to the safe room so he can kill him. Blonde Boy finds a body while Afton goes to get something (probably a knife) and hides. To get him to come out, Afton starts manipulating Blonde Boy, telling him that if he comes out, he'll go home. In the end, he attacks and kills him.
I liked this animation. Afton looks irritated when Blonde Boy hides. But then he thinks and resorts to manipulation.
The end of the animation, showing us the drawing of the Yellow Rabbit with the children, gave me goosebumps the first time I saw it.
This will be the first time we see Vanessa's perspective in these animations/comics. It's important to note that this particular one was made before the second movie, so neither Michael nor Charlotte exist.
In this animation, we see Mrs. Afton telling Vanessa to go warn her father so they can go home together. Vanessa arrives at the safe room and opens the door, finding her father wearing the Spring Bonnie suit. Vanessa notices that Afton is covered in blood, but Afton lies perfectly so Vanessa doesn't realize it's blood.
In the animation, we see a hand from a body, and at the end, Afton gives Vanessa Garrett's plane. That body was Garrett, and when Vanessa opened the door, Afton was killing him.
Since this animation is pre-FNAF 2, Charlotte didn't exist, and Vanessa doesn't know anything. I saw this animation after FNAF 2 and it made me think: "Is Vanessa really smiling sincerely in the photo with her father?" Let me explain. That photo was taken at the second location (the one from FNAF 1). Charlotte is already dead, and before Charlotte's death, Vanessa already knew about Afton's murders. Vanessa tries to stop Charlotte because she knows she'll die if Charlotte follows him 🤔
Seeing this animation after FNAF 2 made me wonder if FNAF 1 was created just to be a single movie (or at least what Vanessa's past refers to). I'm not complaining at all; I love the backstory they gave her with Charlotte. But I find it very curious how Vanessa smiles in Afton's photo in the first movie when she already knows about the murders.
My way of seeing that photo now is that the smile, which seems genuine, is actually forced. Vanessa looks forced to pose in the photo with that monster. Besides holding a gift that Vanessa doesn't quite trust, she thinks, "Could it be from one of Dad's victims?" But she still smiles and tries to pretend everything is fine.
But hey, maybe I'm overthinking this 🤔
The first animation after FNAF 2, and honestly, this animation makes you want to punch Afton a thousand times.
Charlotte is dead. Vanessa goes to confront Afton, but Afton says it's Vanessa's fault for not being able to stop Charlotte properly. He tells her that if Vanessa had truly cared about Charlotte, she would have stopped her more forcefully, later implying that perhaps Vanessa didn't because she genuinely hated Charlotte.
Afton threatens to kill Vanessa and Vanessa desperately apologizes. Afton manipulates Vanessa again, this time using a 'sweet' and 'loving' tone. He repeats that she's his favorite and tells her to go pick up Michael and go home.
When Afton leaves the room, Vanessa cries inconsolably over Charlotte's death 💔
Afton truly deserves to die a thousand times over 😠
Finally, we have an animation/comic uploaded a few days ago where we see Afton trying to kill Blonde Boy. Yes, we have the first animation where Afton kills him, but that animation was pre-FNAF 2, and this one is post-FNAF 2.
In this animation, we see Afton ordering Vanessa and Michael to play their roles so he can gain Blonde Boy's trust and get a new victim. Michael agrees, but Vanessa flatly refuses. An irritated Afton asks why, and Vanessa angrily shouts that she won't do it because he killed Charlotte.
Poor Vanessa, she's truly heartbroken over Charlotte's death 💔
Afton threatens Vanessa, but Vanessa is clever and tells him that if she were to die, what would people think about the disappearance of the daughter of one of the owners of a restaurant where there have been other disappearances?
Afton backs down, surprised by Vanessa's skill in playing that card. He says it seems he pressured her too much, as she's willing to risk her life. But at that moment, Afton notices Michael and decides to threaten Vanessa, saying he'll kill him if she doesn't give in.
Vanessa screams inconsolably. I can't even imagine how Vanessa must feel at that moment. Being the older sister, she sees her father threatening to kill her little brother if she doesn't submit. It must be truly devastating, and I think Vanessa's voice actress, along with the animation, perfectly conveys that feeling 💔
In the end, Vanessa gives in, and Afton leaves, leaving the two siblings alone. Vanessa goes to check on Michael, but Michael blames her for this. He says that if Vanessa hadn't resisted, he would never have suffered 💔
He also leaves, leaving a poor, heartbroken Vanessa alone 💔
I highly recommend these animations/comics. They perfectly capture the history of the cinematic universe's past! ❤️😊
