Recorded in October 2003, Michael created this affirming healing tape for his friend Roy Horn. Horn, a magician and 1/2 of the famous "Siegfried and Roy" duo, was recovering from a life-threatening attack by one of the tigers featured in their shows.

Off the Wall, which drew heavily from the very sound being pushed aside, turned it into one of the defining albums of his career. It went on to win 3 AMA awards (Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist, Favorite Soul/R&B Album, and Favorite Soul/R&B Single for “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough.”) and a Grammy (Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough"). It was also the first album by any solo artist to put four singles in the Hot 100's top 10.

Happy 47th Anniversary to Off The Wall

Finished the two Vaporeons! I was supposed to finish in December but new job and a loss, but I'm done. There will be a third one later but that's not gonna be pretty like these two.

For now I'll be working through old trades, commissions, challenges, and sketching in between~
