Im running on a natural high where for once im appreciative of technology and is not some horrible out-of-control factor. Watching Beiber reenact the movie click through his performance was BRILLIANT. Like it hits all the prerequisites of nostalgia and retrospect ( which are quintessential in HEALING) . As a millennial, the generation as a collective can really feel appreciation of how well documented things have aged, giving us first glance at hindsights or blind spots if you will. Raw footage of a life that lingers and ripples, and MOST IMPORTANT can be integrated bc of the accessibility of technology. He was able to just do what all millennials have done all their life: yt some good throwbacks and subtlety touch a past that seems long gone - YET HE BROKE THAT ILLUSION bc we know very well tht past present and future are all happening at once !

I was never a belieber, i never was gushing over biebs music. But did i know justin beiner and can i sing the chorus of some songs? Did some songs still hold a reference point in my memory catalog that catapult me into nostalgic none primary memories i didnt even know existed? YES. And thts is the true artistry im trying to piggyback of … It was giving museum art concept with the performance being so “low-maintenance” as some called in diff words but tht was the whole point. To be different, to tap into an era when the adults were still kids becoming teenagers feeling like they were dying bc they didnt know they needed a metaphorical ego death and not a bodily experience. He was there, we lived his and ours together as he was in the spotlight and being able to face you, the way he did and display it all was so healing collectively. He reminds himself and most importantly all of us that you can NEVER be stolen/forsaken out of ur true essence… that his raw talent and passion continue to protect him through it all and allow him to evolve to the person he is today: A TRUE ARTIST.
