@bandysnatched asked: ❛ don't give up on me, i'm giving this my everything. ❜
life had never really been 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲. but fuck , rabbit never wanted easy. 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. silver plattered with fruit rotted to the pit. spilling along the edges. slippery. you never grew from easy. you never learned from easy. you never got kick ass scars from easy. nevermore walls were higher. safer. but the second the crossed that threshold the two inseparable became peeled apart. he was the freak among freaks. the piece that never quite fit even when forced. puzzle showed a grand of a world but his edges were serrated. jagged. zigzagged. he had always been content with being loathed. hated. 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐭.
he watched from the stone tables. a once best friend now crowded. king of the sirens. ( dethroned the pretty queen with an ice chip on her shoulder. ) brows furrowing staring down at crossed shaky hands. they played the dangerous game of making one another jealous. it was never ending pain that only ended with punches being thrown. a toxic situation really. but they were past that. bettered. dating was never something the rabbit really toyed with. ─── no dating meant not running. it meant stepping out of the dark , especially with someone so well known. 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. grew together.
but eventually , pillars cracked. he had met him in the practice room that filled with such a strange sort of energy. he wasn't sure where it was coming from. or the sudden sadness. 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭. it pitted his stomach , twisted. made him feel as if he was going to be sick. but he had no words to offer. simply actions. ( raised to never be seen nor heard. ). but the siren could certainly feel him , couldn't he? rabbit slowly lowered himself to a knee. ringed decorated hand wrapping a tight grip around the siren's nape bringing him into the crook of his neck. head moving only slightly to press a kiss to hair while gentle hand soothed back.
he had absolutely no idea who caused the other to go into the darkness of his mind. 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬. but as he cradled , held. comforted. those stormy eyes turned white opal. glowed. as a deep growl rumbled his throat that was enough to mimic one of the siren's own. he would certainly , rip the throat open of whoever hurt his ɥɔʇɐusɹǝpuɐq.
