oh boy am i scared for this one. i think this episode is our morty solo arc, my guess is it’s gonna be morty seeing the affect his absence would have on his family. in the back of the first shot where all of the smiths have vr goggles on and are crying (reminiscent of rixty minutes imo) a tv in the back which i think is displaying what they are seeing based on the fact summer and beth are making the same poses in the room with morty and on the tv. it looks like they’re at an open casket funeral with summer and beth hugging funeral goers as jerry(??) comforts summer (it does look like he’s kinda pushing a shopping cart though lol) and rick stands at the casket, we can also see that in the room he looks to be holding a drink in his hand, unsurprisingly. on a tv behind jerry we see morty on screen in a tie with a label on the left that looks to read “event status: active” and i can’t make out much of the other side other than rm: 12. it looks like some sort of simulated funeral?? so strange. he then portals to outside of what looks like some fancy building with a large mental fence and a bunch of crows fly over his head, my guess is he’s moving forward from the funeral to a cemetery and the building is a church. just the vibe i’m getting, i hope he comments on the crows lol cause of the whole two crows arc.

i also think this clip is from field of dreams, originally i thought it was from jer bud but as others pointed out it looks like they’re selling the things in morty’s room to other morty’s, as objects each have sticky notes on them and the morty’s are fighting over things. it seems as though morty has just walked in and is witnessing it all.

finally i think maybe this background is from field of dreams cause it looks like a church/funeral and this morty because we’ve seen other alternate morty’s and i also think they’re from this episode
