This photo reminds me of when I used to drive a Hino truck and pickup peoples recycling before it was a city service. I was just out of High School and took a year off before going to collage for design. Well wait that is a little out of order cuz I had to go back to High School for my gym credit (yes I'm serious.). But anyways, thats not the point. My parents thought I was NUTS. I might have been now that I think about it. I'd drive to Portage la Prairie from Winnipeg on a few Saturdays, most of the time I was working South Winnipeg. I remember the first time I filled up the truck and spilt diesel all over myself. That vest went from a solid green to something that looked like it could have been sold in Kanye's popup. I've also done many entrepreneurial ventures from a young age. Was talking with my sis and she reminded me I used to sell mixtapes when I was in my early teens. As @garyvee would say i'm a practitioner. Being one he was saying that long form post on Instagram gets more interaction, hence all this copy for the above photo. I didn't take that photo planning to write any of this. However that photo & this write up reminds me of a comment by @grantcardone. He was talking about Gary and how he differs about having mentors and only doing what you love. I didn't love picking up peoples recycling, but I found many things I did love about the experience. I'm not sure if I loved writing all this copy but I did that too. But I love the idea and vision behind it so its all good.
