Both are part of the journey. We discover ourselves more through chasing experiences than simply waiting for life to unfold.

Experiences show us things about ourselves that we didn’t know before. what we love, what scares us, what we’re capable of and what doesn’t feel like us at all.

But pausing is necessary. If we’re constantly chasing experiences sometimes we’re just running away from facing ourselves or we don’t give ourselves enough time to reflect on the experiences we choose.

So it’s about finding a balance between the two knowing when not to let fear of the unknown stop us from living and experiencing new things and knowing when to pause be at peace with where we are and let life unfold in the things we have no control over.
