Last weekend we went to the beach. Today we barely got off the couch. My beach camera has the worst focus. Oh well. Call it impressionist photography.

Today we went to visit the butterflies.

Sand dunes, beach grass and clouds. Spent Sunday enjoying the beach at Anastasia island beach.

It's Monday and my wagon is dragging. Let's call it reverse tortoise speed.

Another nice morning walking around Dudley farm. Today was plow day. The antique tractors were out getting the fields ready for planting. Walked around and visited turkey and the mules.

Fables of the reconstruction. Living history event at Dudley farm today. Post civil war/reconstruction history lesson. Always good fun. So glad the rain stopped.

Why did the chicken cross the road? I don't know but this one was busy, doing chicken stuff. I loved the wild chickens down in key West.

One of the wild horses out on Payne's prairie. We saw a small herd lazing around enjoying the winter sunshine. Such a treat.

2017 is off to a great start. Finally saw some buffalo out at Payne's prairie on our first day, first hike adventure. We also saw some wild horses. Very exciting day. The sandhill cranes? Making so much noise we heard them from the parking lot 1.5 miles away.

Spirit of the rising sun lift me up Hold me there and never let me fall Love me 'til I die, my heart won't wait Soon I will be loved. ____________ I got up early and stood on a pier. Nurse sharks swam under my feet. The sunrise was worth the wait. I really enjoyed our trip to the keys.

Went out to dudley farm today. It was cane day. One of our favorite fall events. Sadly the fry bread lady was not to be found. This is the 2nd fall we've not seen her at events. :'( We did our usual things like visiting turkey and saying hi to the chickens.

Worcester cathedral. Not a bad little town to spend a day walking around. They have a nice cathedral and lots of interesting buildings.

The Atlas fountain at castle Howard. I visited castle Howard on a cold grey misty fall day. I saw a couple snowflakes, I got a little rained on. I still had a wonderful time. Perfect excuse for a hot chocolate from the cafe. There are many wonderful things to see in the grounds of the estate. I think the Atlas fountain is my favorite.
