“That’s nice! Do not worry, this isn’t just a reward, Ice-Cream can help both of us!” Lip shifted a little bit to allow some space on her lap for Jack. “Please do get on dear!”

“Of course, Jack. Make sure to take breaks and drink water, okay?”

“My daughter is so darn cute.”

“Well, you probably hit an artery with that blade of yours.” Chen, you might wanna consider on stopping said bleeding first than doing small talk with Jack. “You are a sharp one, aren’t you?”

“Sharp...? Our knives are sharp,” seems she was rather dense when it came to puns. But...oh, right, her artery! The Assassin was quick to begin patching her up, with far more knowledge of how to do so than a girl her age ought to possess.

“Oh, you’re...you’re...” she trailed off, staring up at the big woman before shrugging. “Dunno. But thanks!” and she accepted the snow cone, eagerly gobbling it down, even rubbing her belly with content once it was all put away.

“My heart aches for you.”

“So stop stabbing me.”

“Oh, sorry,” and thus Jack put her knife away.

“A-Ah...sorry...mama...” she stammered out, taking deep breaths as she stood before him, blood seeping out of her stomach. She had just seen an enemy launch an attack at him, and no one else had been close enough to get there in time...so the small Assassin had darted forth and taken the blow. Of course, she had quickly eliminated the enemy afterwards, but that didn’t solve the wound in her belly.

It wasn’t a deep one, but there was still a noticeable, deep cut in her get. And soon she fell to one knee, shaking her head as she tried to clear her head. If given a few minutes, she might be able to heal the wound.
