Art Heist, Baby! by @otrtbs 🖼️

It's a little... different... I know 🫣 This idea started brewing because the experience of reading AHB was as thrilling and emotional as my first time watching Money Heist (La Casa de Papel). This fic felt so immersive I thought I was watching a heist show the entire time.

'Art is for the people!' Regulus had said.

Then...everything just made sense to me? Money Heist was about the people - everything in the show, especially the uniform and Dalí mask, symbolizes strength, defiance, and resistance against oppressive systems. What can better represent taking a stance against the system than AHB - a story of a found family of queer people stealing million dollars worth of art?! I just felt like this was so fitting for the time in the world we're living in right now. The Dalí mask is just a lucky cherry on top with the art theme. 🖤❤️

This happens to be my favorite dramione as well, and I’d already graciously been gifted a home-bind, so I was incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to put my spin on this. Put my whole heart and soul into this typeset.

My biggest work so far

Okay, this isn't a new bind. This is actually my very first solo bind, which I finished a year ago, and I never really got to post it properly because I didn’t really have an active fandom account back then, and things just happened organically. Anyway… Last Saturday was my bindversary!!! It’s been a year since my primogenitor was born, and to this day Evitative is still one of my favorite projects!

I drew the cover and every single detail myself, following the Wheel of the Year. In this story, we have a 5th-year retelling with Harry in Slytherin, learning about all the traditions and dark magic rituals with Draco and his other new Slytherin friends. The wheel spins as the story progresses, each chapter shows it turning a bit to match the narrative! And the lion and snake figurine is a gift from Draco to Harry!! Also, since dark magic in this fic is purple, I wanted all the details to be purple.

And honestly, I’m so happy I started binding a year ago. Last Saturday was this bind's birthday and I couldn’t post this because I was busy meeting up with some of the friends I’ve made throughout this year in this fandom, and that just makes me so happy! Thank you to all the friends I made along the way, for all the fun chats, sprints, trades, exchanges, and collabs. Here’s to hoping next year brings even more giggles and happiness! Thank you to everyone who’s been following me and watching me do whatever I'm doing here!

Okay yapping time. Let me introduce you to ATYD SIRIUS POV (CONAN GRAY'S VERSION) ⭐

By the will of the binding gods, I have finally finished this set. It took me the longest time to come up with an idea for ATYD Sirius's Perspective so it can complement my original ATYD (Taylor's Version) set. When the inspo hit, it hit haaaaard. What would be more fitting than Sirius reincarnate himself: Conan Gray.

🌅 SUNSET SEASON (YEARS 1-3)

This was Conan's debut EP and just like Remus set, I picked it for the first volume as it is also Sirius's debut into Hogwarts. The song that encapsulates this volume is Generation Why to depict our lovely Marauders.

🐦 KID KROW (YEARS 4-6)

This album was truly the beginning of everything! I started this whole obsession with Conan Gray x Sirius because of Wish You Were Sober and it was my most listened to song in 2024. There were SO MANY songs on this album that were wolfstar coded (Wish You Were Sober, The Cut That Always Bleeds, Heather, etc.) but the lyrics I picked for this angsty volume were from The Story because what do you mean by: When I was younger / I knew a boy and a boy / Best friends with each other / But always wished they were more 😭

⭐️ FOUND HEAVEN (YEAR 7)

As Year 7 was somewhat the happy calm before the storm, I picked the most upbeat and fun album for it. This volume turned out to be my top 2 aesthetically because the album's colors and symbols were just so gorgeous!! The song of the volume is Forever With Me.

🌹 SUPERACHE (THE WAR & AFTER)

ALRIGHTTTT who are we kidding? OF COURSE I had to pick the SADDEST album for the SADDEST years. The war and the aftermath chapters WRECKED me.. This album also KILLED me so obviously they have to go together. So many songs describe Sirius and his relationships to a tee (People Watching, Yours, Summer Child, Jigsaw, Memories, The Exit, ... wait did I just list the entire album?!). But again who are we kidding? The song of the album, the volume, the set, and of the entire livelihood of Sirius Black will always be Family Line. If anyone disagrees with this, sorry you're wrong.

It's been a while since I bound something for myself and I'm honestly so proud of this set. The original ATYD (Taylor's Version) set is my peak, and I feel like this is a close second. But I'm very happy with the progress and growth that I've had over this past year. Thank you everyone for following my journey.

My take on Wait and Hope by @mightbewriting ✨ I was inspired by some versions of the Penguin Clothbound Classics I saw on Pinterest. Wait and Hope was one of the first Dramione fanfics I ever read, and it holds a super special place in my heart.
