MAD MEN shows the work of the first generations of truly modern American modernists. The first generation of architects who studied in the States under the influence of the great European masters and helped to define the essence of the international style in USA. Closely linked to the corporate and institutional architecture, one of the main goals of this generation was the ability to operate in the hostile territory of savage capitalism without renouncing to a high quality and innovative architecture. We could claim without a doubt that this MAD MEN are the real builders of the exuberant American Skyline.
