If you look at the history of rock, you’ll see the bands also heard shit of the previous generation of fans. Had the controversy between Rolling Stones and Beatles, Aerosmith was considered copies of the Rolling Stones, etc. I watched Pantera opening for Black Sabbath and saw older guys in the background complaining that Phil Anselmo screaming was not real metal. Every new generation gets it. We ignore this and keep doing our thing. Try to impress people who hates you is just a big waste of time.”
