To a Totally Normal and Fun, headcanon heavy AveryTheMayo based rp blog!

This blog is based vaguely through the events of DAWTDE, mostly oriented around the search for d3rlord3 / the library sequence onward, just because the lore is fun. This blog will have a lot of Minecraft related posts in general, both IC & OOC! (Mostly because Admin can never shut up about this game) Despite being a DAWTDE focused rp blog, the story is mainly about Minecraft, which Avery almost closed out of multiple times. Maybe in some timeline, it just went to a different server. Who knows!

I am open to basically anything!! Everything may be really awkward at first, but please hold on and bear with us for a bit!

Some basic headcanons (list will be updated eventually!)

- Outside of the game, it was an art major with a minor in botany. Despite this, blue orchids, in particular, seem to make him almost feel dizzy to look at.

- Claims that having different "skins" for certain events (e.g, skywars/pvp, casual) gives it better luck.

- He's got a better reaction time than most, at least when it comes to gameplay mechanics for combat. He's not very knowledgeable on other aspects of the game, despite how long he's been playing. It just never really wanted to memorize everything.

- Avery's favorite kind of thing to do in the game is play PVP, but he does have a few scrapped, singleplayer survival worlds that it drops on occasion, testing things out building wise and just tying to relax playing its favorite game.

- ... For some reason, Avery is really bad with directions. At least it has some whimsy.

Personality Base

Avery holds whimsy in his heart, usually! It can be a bit of a prankster and a little rebellious, cause where's the fun in following the rules? This does lead to a bit of difficulty in making friends, which does break his heart just a little. Avery can be somewhat competitive if given a little nudge in the correct direction, but otherwise typically bounces back and forth between making impulsive decisions and desperately clinging to those who may be close by.

It needs some kind of support. Without it, he may as well live day to day on repeat.

He is trying to learn to better manage those urges, but in light of recent events... it may be a little bit difficult to adjust.

[ Real smooth, Avery. He shrugged his shoulders, words sort of failing for a moment. A lot had happened so far, sorting through memories starting to blur together of the last... what was it, like, thirteen hours of nonstop gaming? Oh, he needed a break, but the search continues. ]

" I totally know where I'm going! Hahah... just going for a stroll while I look for someone! Just taking in the... lack of sights in this field, trying to process the fact that I'm talking to air right now, y'know, the usual! "

[ He paused for a moment. ]

" Yeah, uh... I'm lost. Send help, please. "

" Okay, this has been... the sixth crafting table I've seen? Tenth? Am I just going in circles? "

[ Oh well. It will find a way, eventually. There's so many red flowers and tangling reeds here, snapping slightly underfoot. The area is quiet, flat... at least he can see the horizon easily in case of danger, yet there's little places to hide if that turns out false too. ]

[ If it were to even attempt talking about this with someone else, surely Avery would sound insane. This kind of terrain doesn't generate naturally, even he knows that with the limited survival exploration it typically does. And isn't this a singleplayer world? Is it even worth continuing to try to find a player that may or may not exist in his presence? ]
