I'm fairly new to the marauders fandom, but the third fic I read was tcoptp (about three months ago) and I read it in under two weeks, as someone who works full time and really loves to sleep at least 9 hours a night. but I swear it was so addicting I couldn't stop once I started and a day doesn't pass where I don't think about at least a scene, a character, a quote or entire chapters
when someone asks what my favorite moment in atyd is (I only know one person in irl who read it) and I can't answer the scene where Lily, James, Peter and Remus are drunk, right after Remus met his mom for the first time and Sirius decided not to drink to keep an eye on him and while they're going back to hogwarts through the honeyduke passage, Peter is soooo tired and he shifts into his animagus form to sleep in Lily's pocket and Sirius is like 'wow I can't shift when I'm that drunk' and James, who wants to show off in front of Lily is like 'OH MY GOD YES I CAN LILY LOOK AT ME' and then she just climbs onto his back and falls asleep too and they trot back, while Remus and Sirius stay back in the tunnel, just in love and loving their friends so much
so I just answer the 'have you ever kissed anyone, Remus?' scene
my most priced possessions are the pdfs of the cadence of part time poets I'm working on (it's draining me)

I read All The Young Dudes. I cried for a whole day and night. whenever I think about them I feel my heart ripping all over again and I'm pretty sure I will never recover from this. eleven year-old me could never believe I fell so harder in love with Sirius Black, but that happened indeed. I don't know what to do with my life now, I miss those characters like they were my real friends
if i had a nickel every time an iconic book series had a spin off that focuses on the 10 year old, sheltered blonde boy whom the original characters did EVERYTHING to protect growing up to have an enemies to lovers trope with a badass woman, i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but its weird that it happened twice.
