Geoff, Taste of Chaos 2009 at Northern Lights, Clifton Park, NY on 3/3/09

So Boyzine was a short-lived zine “for boyz (and girlz)” about “new masculinity not defined by patriarchy // Culture for dudes who can’t chug beer all the time // Feminism for boys”. During January of 2015, Gerard was featured in the second issue of the zine where he talked a great deal about gender identity, feminity, gender roles, in addition to other things. 

I’ve wanted a copy of this issue of Boyzine for ages, but unfortunately, their site is dead and the project appears to be defunct. I sent a message to the official Boyzine e-mail asking if I could please get/pay for a copy of the second issue, as I’m exploring my gender identity, and I was told they’d look around once they got back from touring…but sadly, I never heard back from them. If anybody is willing to part with a copy, please message me to work out a ~deal~. Or even if you’re just willing to scan your copy, I’d love to see how the interview looks in zine form since I’ve only ever read it online in plain text form! I mean, anything really, lol. Anyway, without much further ado, while their website is dead I was able to grab the interview through Wayback Machine!!! You can read the full interview under the cut. Enjoy!
