Hii this might be an odd question and absolutely no pressure to answer but when you were making your transformers ocs, how did you decide stuff like helm and body design? I’m not sure where to look for good references 😅

good question! I usually just kinda break up the body and head by taking the alt mode and chopping it up into viable pieces.

I'm designing a V-Smile transformer for my loving husband, so i get a pic of the vsmile and i break it up into pieces!

and then i kinda bridge the gaps between the big noticeable geometry with little leaps. like 'ok yeah some upper arms and calves cam be from the inside of the console- oh and little flippy outy toes from the... idk the little feet of the console? idk!' and i kinda just fudge my way through it.

and then i get to do whatever i like with the head! something cute and personable and fun to draw :]

your email found me at the grocery store irl. that's crazy that you gave it little legs and everything. it walked right up to me. everyone was so scared one person screamed when i picked it up. i said it's okay you just do this kind of thing sometimes. while i was reading, its little legs were just sort of dangling in the air. someone asked me if it's alive and if holding it like that made it uncomfortable. i told them idk i just get the emails i don't send them.
