‘it’s nice to have a friend’ hits different after viewing that scene in miss americana where taylor talks about how she felt still alone even after winning the grammy because she had no one to high five, no one to call, no one at the top with her, no one understanding her. 

i just wish people would stop waiting outside of taylor’s freaking home, stop treating her house like it’s a public place for their own enjoyment, stop tracking her planes, stop sharing pics of her that she wouldn’t want to just go around the internet or wouldn’t want them to be taken, stop treating her like she isn’t an actual person with actual feelings

GUYS please never give up on getting Taylor to notice you. It will happen when you least expect it and it's worth the wait.

I’m not saying you cant support us and appreciate the song, I’m saying stop talking over us just for a like from Taylor because this isn’t your moment, it’s ours. Can’t we just have this one thing without cishet people taking it?

I mean I haven’t been on tumblr since last night so I can’t speak for everyone but there are gay allies and at least for us it isn’t about a like from Taylor. One of my best friends is gay and if I made a post about how much I loved that verse, it wasn’t for a like from Taylor it was because THAT NEEDED TO BE SAID AND I APPLAUD HER

Not all of us are here for a like we’re just spreading the message I promise you. And making the point that we are HERE FOR EVERYONE!!! I’m sorry for people that may be using this moment for something other than sharing the positivity

LGBTQ+ allies are truly on your side here. It’s the homophobes who are working against you. In this case, it’s not “yours” and “ours”. We are all in this together. Don’t let the haters win and tear apart all the supporters no matter their orientation. Let us help project your voice so everyone can hear it…not just Tay.
