So, it is the same butterfly, which puts the butterfly as a central figure in this entire update.

I've been meaning to get around writing about butterflies, since we had quite a few in this update.

So many butterflies. In an update with Frank, this makes sense, but it is quite a few, even for the bug update.

The butterfly seen on Home for the main page is the same butterfly as on the t-shirt. The one Frank is holding above the Home one is a different shape, but the colors are the same. The butterfly hair ornament that Julie is wearing also is similar to the colors. The two that are used for the trophy seem to be outliers. But if we go back:

This image was already assumed to be buggle. The song this is associated with is about sending bugs to hibernation, but I have theorized in the past that it is more about Frank having to bury people he loves, to later resurrect them.

The butterfly on lavender outside of the post office. We've theorized in the past that this is symbolic of Eddie and Frank's relationship.

This is far back as I can think to go, but it seems obvious that the bugglefly has been with us for quite a while. I think we need to remember that Frank is closely associated with this butterfly, and the shirt and the poster put it not only central, but also in between Frank and Eddie.
