After 2 years, I think I've gotten rid of the numbness. I have feelings again. And I feel capable of feeling "kilig". I can say now that I can open my heart once again. Not to anyone in particular yet. But in general, I think I can fall in love again.

I haven't really been concerned about marriage and settling down. It doesn't bother me that I'm still single (and ready to mingle, according to my InTACT students ). In fact marriage is probably second to the last in my list at the moment. But looking at the photos of a childhood friend who has been married for 3 years now, I can't help but wonder (and perhaps wish) that I may also find that person perfect for me. Is this still quarter-life crisis? I don't know. I don't really feel bad but I feel a little jealous (or something to that effect).  The joy I see on my friend's face makes me really look forward to the time that I too might settle down (if that at all is my calling...)
