Way too calm? Yeah, maybe - it wouldnât be the farthest thing from the truth. But heâs used to this (going through the motions that follow losing your home and, for a second time around, your general purpose). Heâs been over this already⌠only everything was much worse several years ago.Â
Maybe thatâs what has him settling comfortably, whatâs diminished his sense of urgency that typically heightens in dangerous circumstances. The thing is, he just canât help it. If it shouldnât be okay that his best friends are here and that theyâre all stuck together, someone should make it a little clearer. Heâs been through a delusion once already, and if it werenât for an entirely empathetic and comprehensive best friend to pry him out, itâs difficult to imagine that his body would still belong to him. "I canât talk for anyone else, but Iâm used to this sorta thing."
At least with that out in the open, it doesnât seem like this massive elysian park has taken ahold of him with his consent. Frankly, it just could be worse and he wants to appreciate whatâs been laid out on a silver platter to the best of his ability. "Thatâs pretty dedicated. Do all huntresses stay up all night when this kinda stuff happens?â Sounds like a lot of work - not that his endurance isnât conditioned to last a similar amount of time.Â
If worse comes to worst, he can handle anything. Except her mention of the area heâs (unfortunately) covered, and can vouch for as the worst thing this place has to offer. âRight⌠I dunno about ridiculous, but Iâd steer clear if I were you.â Considering heâs too late to put himself in the shoes of possibility, itâs all about looking in hindsight. "Never thought about it that way. We could give it a shot if you wanna!"Â
The offerâs a quick one: if he can prove himself, she wonât doubt his weapon any longer. "You kidding? I meanâ if anything could⌠But thatâs not what itâs for!â Defensive? Maybe, but playful enough not to be misinterpreted. "Câmon, Iâll show ya."
Weiss knew she should have anticipated situations like this, times where she wouldn't be able to get back to Beacon so easily. She was a huntress, someone who was trained to expect the unexpected. Sure, she hadn't completed said training, but she should have known this much by now. If she was being completely honest with herself, she would say she was disappointed in herself for not adjusting to this situation so quickly. Regardless, she would just have to point all her efforts in the direction of freedom, a way to return to her home. There were probably a lot of people around here who understood that. It didn't stop her from being difficult, though.
"How exactly do you get used to this?" she asked, genuinely curious. If there was some method she could learn, that would be fantastic. It would speed up her training just a tiny bit more if it was something she could do. Even in the midst of all that was happening, she still wanted to focus at least a little bit on her studies. Just because she had disappeared didn't mean Beacon stopped running. That would be absurd.
She thought back to the amount of sleepless nights she'd had in the past, definitely not because of duty or her own accord. Shaking her head, she said, "No. I mean, we remain vigilant and sometimes we have to do night-watch, but most of the time we're just in our dorms back in school. I guess we have more stamina, but that hardly counts at the moment. There's no fighting to do, after all." With no creatures of Grimm to kill there was really no purpose in her being here.
She raised an eyebrow at his certainty, but she guessed that was a good thing in a sense. "From what I've heard about it it's ridiculous. I'd never go in there myself..." She could just imagine the ways that place could mess with her, from showing her fake images to making her hear sounds of tragedies way back in when in Vale. It was probably just her imagination, and besides, she hadn't even been in the place yet. How was she to know what it was all about? "I think it sounds like a good idea. Using people as target isn't a good idea. The robots will have to do."
The look she gave him was a skeptical one, that was for sure, but as much as she hated to admit it she had been proven wrong before. Maybe this time would be no different. "Alright, show me. What exactly can this giant key do?"
Sorry I haven't been on the past few days. I was bit bleeeeehhhh but I should get replies and the starters I owe done. Eventually.

Something goes off towards the back of his mind - a fuse lit, ignition sparked: the refreshing of an urge tamed by the realization of his friendsâ company. They should be on greater engines, moving quickly and all at once. How else is it that theyâll stumble upon a chance to escape without the drive to get there sooner than later? Point blank, heâs been slacking off.Â
Is that really such a great surprise? With Riku and Kairi here, itâs⌠well, hard to find downsides other than the haunted escape that dulls the mind and mutes the instincts. Having experienced it first-hand, it goes without saying that he hardly made it out unscathed. Whatâs one to expect from an area so massive if one park alone can leave that kind of mark on the height of optimism? "Not even a little?" Disbelief colors his features. How is she so fully functional?Â
Strange, yeah, but not impossible. Heâs been trying to avoid a nightmare or two, himself. In order to steer clear of the terrors that call his head a pleasant haunt, the wielderâs put forth a little more effort than usual to stir in his sleep. Evading the deeper stages and the remnants of his horrific experiences tie in together all too well. All too conveniently, and itâs a ploy too far in for the younger male to even consider. "Maybe Iâve got it easy."
Heâs not boastful; in situations like these, thereâs nothing to brag about. "A huntress? CoolâŚâ Even if heâs not sure what that entails, it doesnât sound like one undeserving of his respect. "Been, yâknow, looking around. Have you seen this place? Not like you can get out with a âplease and thank youâ!â By then, all he can do is summon the keyblade and do his best to prove a point.Â
"What can I do?â It manifests in a burst of light, shaping in the curve of his palm as he quirks a brow. "Iâve got this."
She couldn't help but wonder what kind of universe this boy was from to be more laid back in this situation, but maybe he was just naturally like this. He seemed somewhat innocent, in a sense. Wow, now he was really reminding her of Ruby. It was kind of disconcerting.
Weiss didn't know anyone here. No, that was a lie. She had met people, made a couple of acquaintances, but there was no one from Remnant that she had found, or at least not yet. Anyone that could give her at least a small sense of home, just a little bit, would be perfect in her eyes. Not that she would share that with them, of course. At least not until she had reached the level of perfection she aspired to herself. Vanity and arrogance really was an issue with her, among many other things, but all she saw was confidence.
"Not even a little," she confirmed, shifting her weight to her other foot. "Some people are just way too calm about this. Where's their sense of caution? The only time I'll be able to get sleep is either when I'm out of here or when my eyes drop and bam, I've passed out in the middle of the street." Her tone and pitch of voice was enough to make someone wince. At least there wasn't anyone about to make a scene in front of.
She would have to get used to people not knowing what a huntress was, but at least Sora seemed to realize what an honour it was to be one, or something like that. "Yes, a huntress. Very cool." She smirked a little, thankful for some kind of recognition. "As long as I don't have to go into that Haunted place I'll be fine. That place looks ridiculous." She wasn't scared, of course not. "Those robots in the bad part of Tomorrow Land look like good combat practice targets, though."
She watched the keyblade appear, stepping back a little. Her eyes studied it for a few seconds before settling back on the boy's face. "A giant key? Does it open the door to a giant's beanstalk or something?" Wait, why did this guy get to keep his weapon while hers was incognito. That just wasn't fair.
Ęá´á´á´á´á´á´á´ á´ĄÉŞá´Ę á´ á´ ÉŞá´á´Ą á´Ň ÉŞÉ´ŇÉŞÉ´ÉŞá´Ę / á´Ąá´ÉŞss
Itâs rather amusing, really. Back in Gensokyo, she wouldnât have expected to form bonds over bizarre circumstances, often as the bizarre in fact translates as normal there. Yet here she is now with a stranger from another world, whose character would otherwise be incompatible with hers.
"And we have one of the less weird floors, you say? My, myâŚâ At that, itâs impossible for her countenance to not betray her renewed amusement as regards the present circumstances. The magnificently realistic view of the cosmos was a great wonder in itself, not to mention the apparent inclusion of anti-gravity switches to the architecture of their room (any doubt that that much might be a joke is dismissed immediately, knowing her roommateâs apparent narrow humour already) â but for her then to speculate, or even outright assert that theyâve been granted a comparatively normal set-up hereâ
Well, no doubt a lesser woman might have actually laughed at the idea, whereas she prides herself on her reserved hilarity.
The mental image of Weissâs previous mishap with the inexplicable switch is almost enough to push her over the threshold, if truth be told, though she ultimately maintains composure as she seems to wave away any associated worries. "Worry not. Iâm increasingly poised to think the purpose of the switch is in fact for one roommate to make the other the victim of her joke, but it is less fun if you already anticipate the effects of the trick." All this she says without a hint of shame, and with an unnerving twinkle in her eye too: whether sheâs bluffing or not is as indiscernible as the rest of her motive here.
If nothing else, however, Yukari settles to humour the otherâs seeming unfamiliarity with the moon â this moon, anyway. Genuinely intrigued, sheâs to edge closer to the other as she draws out a photograph, and thenceforth (for now) manages to hold a sincere expression.
"How curiousâŚ" a murmur to herself, before sheâs to address her specifically as she glances from the captured image. "A broken moon. Although, perhaps it isnât customary for you to think of it as âbrokenâ per se, if you knew of it no other way.â
Weiss couldn't help but wonder just how she got here if she wasn't even in the same world. This person was obviously from somewhere more alike this place, if the moon issue was any indication. Perhaps this entire place was just a different dimension entirely, and while the logical, reasoning side of her brain told her that shouldn't be possible, the facts laid out before her contradicted that. It was going to be hard to wrap her head around this one.
"Well, the other floors are, from what I've heard, some sort of mystery maze where you have to navigate your way to your room is the first floor, the second floor is some kind of weather controlled habitat, there's a dragon on the third floor you have to fight, and the fourth is some kind of magic thing. Now a sixth one's opened up and it's based on some fairy tale I know nothing about!" Her words grew louder and louder as she let out her frustrations, annoyed with this place for being so flashy, of all things. It was hardly practical, and if anything it was just supposed to force it upon them that this place was strange and there was no getting out.
At Yukari's theory, she narrowed her eyes. If this woman was planning to make a fool out of her, she'd be sorry. That's what she thought, at the very least, though she seldom withheld from taking the bait when antagonized. Many of her words were used for arguing, but she could be quite gullible in other areas. She pretended as if she was not, though those who knew her could easily push her buttons. It was a real problem she hadn't cared to fix.
Crossing her legs, she snapped, "I hope you don't plan on doing anything to me. I have a weapon, you know." Only half true, as her sword was missing, but one misplaced step from the other woman and the entire room could be blown to smithereens. Dust was useful that way, and she had quite a lot of it. Those were the perks of having a family owned dust company.
Instead of tucking the photograph away, she placed the frame on the bedside table so it faced her. If she had to spend the rest of her days here, she was going to decorate at least a little bit. She deserved that much. Besides, she didn't want to forget her friends if they never arrived here.
"Broken..." It was true that she had never thought of the moon in Remnant that way, but it made sense that it would look like that to others. "It makes sense, but I think of it as a representation of the world I live in. Those shattered fragments are remains and I come from Remnant. Broken was never a term I used, I suppose." Maybe there were more mysteries in her world than even she knew.

Ęá´á´á´á´á´á´á´ á´ĄÉŞá´Ę á´ á´ ÉŞá´á´Ą á´Ň ÉŞÉ´ŇÉŞÉ´ÉŞá´Ę / á´Ąá´ÉŞss
It is at the end of her shamelessly indulgent musing that she bothers herself with common conversational etiquette â which is something, at least. Contrary to whatever peculiar image she has built for herself already, she has no particular wish to antagonise (not seriously, anyway) her new companion: much less if they are to share their living quarters. A mere cursory glance is first thrown over her shoulder before she descends elegantly from her suspended place, right foot daintily setting onto the floor before the left follows, and she finally turns.
Inevitably, the first few moments of actual eye-contact are spent scrutinising this roommate of hers. She holds a certain air about her, or so it appears. Curt, likely not especially enthusiastic to humour the unknown and and unnaturalâŚ
And discerning this much, Yukari has to share a strange smile with herself. She might yet have some fun teasing the poor thing.
Nevertheless, she knows now that they can agree on one matter immediately: ââMm, I donât pause to think something was a little too loose and free within the mind of the architect. His ambition, for one,â and on this she dwells for but a moment before news of an anti-gravity switch registers. Although at least half genuine in her wonder, her eyes widen to such an extent to suggest mockery, âBut I knew not of any such switch. Iâm inclined to wonder why more than I am how, myself â and even then, logic might yet elude us.â
Ultimately, however, she dismisses the matter with a graceful flutter of her hand. The notion of fiddling with the switch whenever she has an idle moment plants itself as a seed now; otherwise, she occupies herself with formalities.
"Anyway. You guess correctly, yes, and that name is Yukari." If only momentarily, her feline smile falters into something more polite as she dips into a small bow of introduction. "âŚThose who stole the moon returned it, however," (a glance is thrown back towards the window) "There seems to me to be nothing wrong with this one, even if it does turn out to be more than a white orb painted on a black backdrop."
Weiss watched the girl's eyes look her over, taking in her every inch, her every flaw. Many may have backed down, averting their eyes as they were being observed, but she wasn't like that. She maintained eye contact throughout the whole exchange, and after all, she was able to look at this woman now as well. She was dressed in a way foreign to her, and as a huntress she had seen plenty of strange outfits. It was the only thing she really had the chance to look at besides the smile adorning the woman's face, and she had a feeling she wasn't going to particularly like what it meant.
She had to give the architect at least that. The dedication that probably went into making this building, well, she could empathize with that. The feeling of reaching for a goal and finally achieving it was marvelous, but not as important as the journey one made to get there.
"I see what you mean. They had to be pretty creative to think all of this up, and we've got one of the less weird floors," she said, remembering the descriptions of the five other floors. "It's the one next to the light switch, but don't you dare press it when I'm in here. I already had a mishap with it once. I don't need to relive that experience, thanks. But you bring up a good point. The 'why'. It's an inefficient device to have in a hotel room. When are we ever going to need it?"
The woman seemed to come from somewhere other than Remnant, apparently, just judging by the way she looked, conducted herself, and her name. Plus, there was the whole moon thing. As someone who had never seen the moon full, even when the cycle was complete, she was very curious how this realm of space worked. Explaining her own circumstances would probably have to come first, though.
"It's not that there's anything wrong with it. Well, I mean, technically. It's just that from where I'm from the moon looks different." She was about to explain exactly what its appearance was when she figured it would probably be easier to show rather than tell. Rummaging through her belongings, she took out a picture, one of her and her teammates with the moon behind them -- the crescent similar to a regular (or whatever regular was here) moon while beside it was the second half, shattered and broken in the sky.
"That's what our moon looks like. Space is different where I'm from. In fact, we hardly learn about it. Then again, it's not like huntsmen and huntresses need to. That's not our domain."

âJust what do you intend to do with that?    Sprinkle me? Make me sneeze to death?â   Gilgamesh held no ill intent. He didnât make   a hobby out of physically harming those of the   female gender â but he certainly would bully her   verbally. It was hard to resist with how she leaped   to the defensive side. He was surprised himself,   though. He didnât expect anybody behind that   door â perhaps an empty room that would satisfy   his curiosities and overcome his growing annoyance.   It hadnât shown, of course. He had years and years   of practice to perfect the art of acting. His arms   folded across his chest and his chin traveled up in   an impeccably arrogant manner.        âPeople have addressed me as â        âYour Highnessâ,  âMy kingâ, or âKing of Heroesâ;     and in another time of my life, âArcherâ. To  be addressed as    either does not inconvenience me. But if I must â Gilgamesh.â   His head made a small tilt, and his crimson eyes a   sharp narrowing.     âMy purpose of being here is as yours. Your reaction      upon my arrival was undeniable, and your fickle     barking is something that has no place when one is      presented with a place that could be nothing short of     paradise. In short â Iâve tried.â  An exaggerated sigh escaped his lips.     âOr am I wrong?â
In response to his first question, she poured a small amount of dust, no more than enough for the pile to be seen, onto her hand and promptly flicked it at the farthest chair in the diner, causing it to explode at the first touch. "Sprinkling you seems quite sufficient, doesn't it?"
Her eyes narrowed as he lectured her on the many names he had taken on in his lifetime, true or not. She called no one by those names and had no interest in starting now. Whoever this person was definitely wasn't above her, or at least she didn't think he looked the part. Heck, most of the people around here didn't look like they even lived in Remnant, and the way they acted was out of this world. Or, perhaps, not out of this world, just out of her world, which she seemed to have left for a far away land.
"Someone's full of themselves, but if we're going to introduce ourselves that way I've been known as 'My Lady', 'Heiress' or, simply, Weiss." She decided to leave out the less than flattering nicknames given to her by her fellow students.
Despite the criticism against her actions, she remained where she was, never the type to back down from a verbal (or physical, for that matter) fight. "I'd hardly call this a paradise, you dolt. Have you even seen half of these attractions? They might look pretty on the outside, but if you dig down deeper they're horrid. Some of us have schools and homes to get back to. I have a job to do."Â
Weiss didn't like people with arrogant airs about them, probably because she was so much like that herself.
"Are you telling me that this mangy, drooling mutt is going to live with us forever? Oh, yes he is, yes he is!"
Ęá´á´á´á´á´á´á´ á´ĄÉŞá´Ę á´ á´ ÉŞá´á´Ą á´Ň ÉŞÉ´ŇÉŞÉ´ÉŞá´Ę / á´Ąá´ÉŞss
A view of boundless space is nothing much new for she who has the ability to shift boundaries as she wills. But a view of boundless space from as mundane a place as her bedroom window is, she would confess, a quaint novelty.
Indeed, upon arriving to her designated room, the scenery framed by the window of the hotel room had her - if only momentarily - in a state of mild bemusement. She had decided to be reasonable this first time, having entered the security code as instructed rather than shamelessly making her own way in â she has always been quite accustomed to having a spacious living space to herself, so all this should be delightfully new for her. At that time, she had been under the impression that it would be this having of a âroommateâ only that would take some getting used to: it would be an experience, if more mundane than anything else.
It takes her but a glance through the windows for her to be otherwise distracted, of course.
What does work in her favour, it seems, is that she arrives to an empty room. Obviously lived in by another already, granted, but this stranger roommate is presently absent as she quickly takes to making herself at home. She fills her time alone with idle reverie and occasional reflections on their impossible view. When the other enters, however, they are to find her amidst a show of contemplation at the windows, seated nonchalantly upon a chair-shaped absence.
"The moon was stolen once, and concealed behind one false⌠I wonder, are these stars stolen too, as brilliantly true they look? If so, you have to admire the architectâs passion for his art in creating a beautiful view for little old usâ Although I hesitate to open the window to let a bit of air in. Even so, I would say itâs a fair price to pay."
Maybe her explicit attempt to create a mysterious first impression comes across as rude above all else, for not once does she turn to look at this new living partner of hers as she indulges in her own nonsense.
Weiss had already memorized her room code by this point, having studied it carefully. She was not about to let her finger slip, allowing her to fall into the dumpster. She was Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company and huntress in training, definitely not someone suited to pose as trash, of all things. Of course, she could never get the code wrong even if she tried (and she never would), so there was no problem and she was able to open the door with ease.
She leaned against the door frame, arms folded as she listened to the girl speak. What on earth was she playing at, speaking as if she was the human embodiment of a poetry book. It was something her mother would read, and although she knew whoever this was probably didn't mean to startle her, her guard was too high up from traveling around all day to relax. She opened her mouth to question what this woman was doing in her room, but then she remembered she was supposed to have a roommate.
And this was her? Oh, god. Now she really missed Beacon.
"The architect is nuts," she said, breaking the enchanting atmosphere the girl seemed to be alluding to. "Why would you build a place like this, and how do you install an anti-gravity switch? That is so beyond the realms of proper logic, but here we are." She sighed and sat on her bed, the one furthest away from the girl. "Whatever. I'm Weiss, by the way. Your roommate, if that wasn't obvious. I'm guessing you've also got a name?"
It was times like these that she longed for a place familiar to her own, such as her bunk beds back at Beacon, or even her queen sized bed back at her family's estate. As comfortable as this bed was, it was strange to her. It wasn't like home, and what was what she needed. That, and the fact that this 'space' looked nothing like the information they had about it in Remnant, her eyes drawn to the obvious contradiction.
"The moon's different," she mumbled.
Guard Down {Closed}
Weiss had never been the type to care about those around her, no matter how many people were jammed or packed in beside her person. She had never appreciated the bustling city life she had grown accustomed to and was now feeling quite lonely as she sat in one of the dining areas, sipping on a glass of water. All that walking around had made her positively parched despite hardly running into anyone and the pathways themselves being relatively straight forward. Definitely not like the pathways she was used to navigating during her classes or basic missions.
She had decided to take a break from searching for a way out, at least for now, as even the best of warriors needed food and water, but she had by no means let down her guard. This place worried her with its eerie calmness, and how the hell were the rides even working without anyone to operate them? No matter how many people she came across who were settled in, she would forever feel disconnected from her surroundings.
It was only when the door opened with a clang that she realized she had let her guard down, and she jumped up quickly, grabbing a tube of dust. It didn't look incredibly threatening, she knew, but they were just the same as explosives, though only if she spilled a huge chunk. It was the only thing she had right now, since her sword was missing, but she still had her semblance to use if necessary.
"Who are you and what do you want?" she asked, voice firm. It was obvious to anyone that she was jumpy by the way she assumed everyone was an enemy. Innocent until proven guilty didn't exist in a place like this, or at least she didn't think so. The person in front of her didn't seem incredibly friendly, though she could be mistaken. Some people often thought the opposite about her, and she was quick to prove them wrong.

Heâs only just woken up, having slept in from quite a few endeavors taken place the days prior. Knuckles pressing into the sockets of each eye, heâs pulled from exhaustion with a quick tug and an expectant voice. The questionâs simple enough, but it does leave him stunned for a good momentâs time. Maybe itâs the insinuation that he could find a job at a place like this and call it stable that has Sora reeling, brows knitted together.Â
âWork here? Nu-uh!â While he isnât necessarily offended, the crossing of his arms doesnât express that quite so well. "I just got here a few days ago. Guess that means you donât work here, either." This leaves them at a stand-still, an impasse of sorts where theyâre not going to progress unless they decide on a goal of some sort.
Soraâs just not one to think like that - rather, heâs used to asking for a name or if thereâs a method of assistance he might be able to offer. Unfortunately, itâs not always bound to come together as neatly as it might outside of a confined area.Â
It is what it is. "But⌠Iâm Sora. And Iâm not so sure there is a way out. Iâm workinâ on it.â Well, thereâs gotta be some way out - he just isnât sure where or how - or if an escape is the first thing on his mind.Â
Weiss grumbled, twirling (almost tugging) on her hair out of frustration. How could she be so stupid? There were hardly any human workers around in the first place, so why would that change now? She tried to justify it by the way he was dressed, but it didn't really worked. She never liked to admit she was wrong and she definitely wasn't about to start now.
She scoffed, indignant. "Of course I don't work here. I'm a huntress, not a carny." Her arms crossed, almost copying his actions as if trying to outdo him. It wouldn't surprise her if she was. "I got here literally yesterday, and I hardly slept a wink." As comfortable as the bed in her room was, she missed her bunk beds at Beacon, and she doubted anyone could sleep properly in a strange place such as this. Only with one eye open could she even begin to drift off.
At his words, she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. He wasn't that much smaller than her, but it was enough for her to believe he was relatively powerless, unaware of how wrong she really was. He really did look like a kid, though she had been wrong about thinking that way before if Ruby was anything to go by. (She was honestly starting to miss her partner and the rest of her team, but she couldn't think about that now).
"I'm Weiss, and how are you working on it? What can you do?" Her words weren't meant to be as harsh as they sounded, really, but they were. Not that she was one to talk anyway, with a missing sword and just a lot of dust to her name.
Green Grass, White Snow {Closed}
After exploring the park so far, Elphaba was losing hope that she would be getting home. Â It was starting to wear Elphaba down, and her feet were beginning to ache from all the walking (and rushing away from the unnerving workers at the park) she had been doing. Â So, she was searching for a bench where she could take a break and regroup.
While searching for the bench, she found herself looking at the booths as she passed. Â It seemed like an ordinary theme park at first glance, a simpler version than the one she had seen in the Emerald City, but upon further study, Elphaba was worried about how safe she really was. Â Between the workers, no apparent exit, and everyone other than those workers having no idea how they arrived there, she was starting to worry about what would happen to all of them. Â And whether or not Glinda had found herself there as well.
A girl wearing a lot of white, and with white hair, was approaching her, and Elphaba saw that she was clearly angry. Â Not that she could blame anyone in this situation for being angry, of course. Â But she could blame someone for kicking something over onto her foot. Â And when this girl asked about her skin, she sighed and shook her head. Â Not this again.
"I have always been green," Elphaba started, "Why are you storming about asking people about their skin? Â Seems a bit more questionable to me."
Weiss couldn't help but circle the older woman, checking for any signs of a tail, perhaps some claws or some tiny ears that she may have missed. No dice. This girl wasn't a Faunus, unless she was like Blake and hid it extremely well, but she doubted it. Even she didn't know of any Faunus being green. No to say that they didn't exist, but she doubted this person was even from her world. She was dressed a lot differently, probably a lot more normal than Weiss herself, but for her anything other than combat clothes or school uniforms was mostly strange to her.
She hardly registered the discomfort of the woman in front of her, having never been the most polite person in the world. Her parents always spoke to her frankly, asking rude questions, though she had never realized it at a time. From a young age she had been taught to wonder about people who were different from her, but the way her parents showed this to her wasn't the most ideal way. Pushy and rude was all they stood for, really, other than the whole dust company shabang, but most people saw through that anyway.
"I'm not just asking anyone about their skin colour. Do you see anyone else with green skin around here? Do you really blame me for asking? Not all of us are used to green people walking around everywhere, you know," she said, tone still irritated (and probably irritating to anyone around her, as well). "I'm also trying to find a way out of this stupid place, or at least a person who can tell me how to get out. I don't have time to stay here and goof off. I have responsibilities to get back to."
She crossed her arms, huffing as she looked around the area. Odd details were something she had to look for, but in an amusement park everything was strange. How was she meant to differentiate between what was actually strange and what was different from a carnival? They hadn't exactly been a place she frequented. She turned towards the other girl, as if just realizing she was still there. "I'm Weiss, by the way. Weiss Schnee. You can help me look around, if you like. So what's your name?"

Weiss couldn't help but stare at the gates to the Haunted Escape. It seemed so ominous, and she couldn't help but gaze, wondering who on earth would make such an uninviting attraction. She wouldn't be going in there any time soon, so she continued to walk around, back to the hotel's plaza. Maybe there would be people there who knew how to leave. She doubted it, but a huntress never gave up, and she was going to be one of the best after all.
The only thing different about the plaza was the other person standing in the middle of it, the clothes he was wearing reminding her of some of the other attractions at the amusement park (not that her clothes were exactly normal). Maybe he was a worker at this park or something of the sort. He definitely looked the part.
"Hey, you!" she called out, storming up to the boy. He appeared younger up close, and her theory about him working at the park was deteriorating. "Do you work here or something? How do I get out of here?"
The back of her mind nagged at her, telling her she could be much more polite, but she ignored it. Now wasn't the time for social tact, it was the time to get some answers, and so help her she was going to get some no matter who she had to go through. Her determination really could be scary at times.

Weiss was nothing short of pissed.
The entire morning, she had been trying to find a way out of this prison of an amusement park, but so far she'd had no luck. Her sword was gone, and what she thought was a regular light switch in her room happened to be an anti-gravity device, messing up her hair and making the dust scattered in her belongings fly around.
Whenever she was this angry, she usually took it out on the next person she saw, and even her teammates weren't safe, though she was usually easier on them than the others. She hadn't seen anyone yet though, and her patience was beginning to wear thing.
Her head down, she traveled between stalls and the like, resisting the urge to push things over. It was unbecoming of a lady such as herself to do such a thing, and her father's voice rang out in her head, but she pushed it away forcefully. The thought of what he might say if he found out she had become trapped in here was enough for her to spill over the edge, her desire to kick something growing even more.
And so she did, not aiming anywhere and landing on someone's foot. Her head snapped up, an apology forming in her throat, but it was lost when she saw the person. "Why are you green?"
Like for a starter from Weiss! She's probably gonna be hella grumpy I'm sorry.
