Anthony developed a crush on Coy shortly after Coy moved in with him.
Anthony was never going to do something with those feeling on his own, though. He’s a really busy person, he’s his roommate, and he doesn’t usually pursue relationships, least of all with men.
Anthony tried to maintain a normalcy between them. Tried to treat Coy like a friend. Flirt only as much as he would with any other friend. Not like he would with someone he wanted to hold hands with and cuddle and kiss and—
He wasn’t hiding it very well, but fortunately for him, Coy was oblivious as hell. At least, for a little while.
Coy started crushing on Anthony during the late nights where he and his friends would sit around bouncing around content ideas. There was something about seeing Anthony deep in his element that made Coy a little flustered. Especially when Anthony was doing it half asleep.
Coy didn’t think he had a shot. While he wasn’t ever certain if Anthony was straight or not, this is how Anthony would outwardly label himself, so he cut his losses early.
That is, until Coy notices Anthony starting to get more and more nervous around him. He started to experiment; Coy would sit closer to him on the couch, he would help wipe food off his face, he would steal from his water bottles, anything to pull a reaction out of Anthony.
And reactions Coy got. Anthony was getting so flustered anytime Coy even looked at him. Which would make Coy back off for a little bit, but he couldn’t help himself, and he would eventually come back even bolder each time. They played a game of tug and pull for a while like that until Anthony grew the balls to ask what they were.
I know for a fact I’ve said this before, but these two keep their relationship a secret for as long as possible just for the love of the game.
Anthony loves spoiling Coy. Any time Coy vaguely references wanting anything at all he gets it.
If you think they’re clingy already wait for them as an established couple. Holy shit. Not in a PDA way I don’t think they would do that but. In the home they never get off each other I bet. Those two are always leaned up on one and other or holding hands or cuddling or SOMETHING man.
They both run cold. And so their bed is full of blankets and it’s like a giant nest that they go into each night and get all warm and cozy.
Coy plans the majority of their dates because anytime Anthony plans something it’s a giant thing where they’re going to fancy restaurants or traveling and renting limos just for fun, and while Coy loves getting to have those experiences, that gets expensive after a while. So Coy makes sure to take him out on simple intimate dates too. They balance each other out well in that sense.
