Alright so here's how she arrived, she actually wasn't very dirty just very matted I suspect she was thrown in the dryer at some point

these are photos from after because I forgot to take some before, but this is how I open my plushies up to remove their stuffing! If you pull at the fur along their back you should find a seam, once I find it I try to get my seam ripper under a stitch and then push it forward. This is the safest way I know of to open a plush without wrecking it.

Once stuffing is removed its time to wash the plush, if I think a plush might be stinky (or if it just is) I soak it in soapy water for 10 - 30 minutes before I go in and start handwashing. I use dishsoap or a cheap shampoo and scrub it into the fur, depending on how dirty i'll rinse them to get all the soap out, get fresh water and do another round of scrubbing with soap. Once they're washed I will wring out as much water as possible, roll them up super tight in a towel and step a few times to squeeze out as much water as possible.

Now they're no longer soggy but still wet so I like to blow dry them! The dryer I use has a button that when held down blows cool air so I do actually use my dryer on hot but I will alternate between hot and cold so that the air doesn't get so hot it damages the plush.

After she was about 80% dry and stopped, brushed her real good and finished drying her off!
