Earlier this week, I sent out an email about my new book coming out in 2019, Every Word You Cannot Say, which is a collection of poetry about my own struggle with depression and what I feel like I can’t say, and what I wish someone would say to me. I asked everyone subscribed to my email feed (the link is in my bio, www.tinyletter.com/pleasefindthis) if they had things that they didn’t feel like they could say, that they wanted to say or share. They did. Here, anonymously, is what the people who sit next to you on the bus, across from you at the coffee shop, who serve you in restaurants, who drive past you on the street, cannot say. As I’ve said in this latest email, which has all the replies in it, the world is so rough right now. We all need to hold onto each other. Wherever you are, whoever you’re with, be kind and gentle with them and with yourself.

There is so much we need to say to each other, that we don’t.
