The past was a always lot for Trunks to take in. No matter how long he stayed here, he know that this wasn’t his home. His destiny, his life, were far from here. He didn’t have the luxury of knowing these people in his life, including his father.

Wanting to have some time to breathe and reflect, Trunks found himself sitting on the balcony alone. He stared up into the unmarred sky, feeling the pull of not belonging here and push to his own destiny. 

He drew in a breath just as he detected he wasn’t alone. Being able to sense power aside, he knew the other’s presence. He kept his gaze fixed up at the sky. “Hello, father.”

I’m out of town tonight through Sunday then back to work at 7am Monday. I work full time so throwing that out there. I’ll have another similar trip sometime in the next month or so. On top of that? Depression is a bitch, my friends. I have a LOT of deep cleaning to do that I want to put more focus on so I can have everything where I want it when our furniture comes sometime in August.

So since I can’t promise when I’ll be online and how long etc it may take longer to get replies and my presence on here may not be as frequent for a bit. Not going away just kind of wanted to set a status so you all know where I’m at.

As lightning flashed in the sky, Jiren noticed how the stranger’s mood instantly seemed to morph.  What about a storm could possibly be that frightening?

“It will take more than a little rain to scare me,” Jiren responded, ignoring the hand that was offered to him.  There was no evidence that the rain here was acidic; he saw no reason for immediate concern.  “And I did not ask for your help!”

Trunks’ eyes narrowed as he let out a sigh. Stubbornness. This was nothing new to him. Sure, in his regular timeline he had grown up without his father, but since he’d spent quite a lot of time with him. His father wouldn’t back down from anything. It was a quality he both admired very much about him and irritated him to no end. Especially in situations like these. He was sure his father would simply walk away and leave this man to die, but Trunks couldn’t.

“There is no need for concern.  The wounds are minor.  They will heal.”

The words were spoken through gritted teeth– a mixture of annoyance at the stranger’s insistence on trying to help him by invading his personal space and pain from the wounds themselves.  He was scuffed up pretty badly, yes.  But he’d had worse and recovered fine.  He would recover from this as well.

Lightning flashed in the dark sky above them. Trunks glanced up for just a moment before turning his attention back to the clearly injured newcomer. “Look... If you don’t follow me, those wounds are about to get worse.” Thunder echoed, wind blowing strands of blue hair out of his face.

//So I did some edits and update to my rules. I am also working on things a little to tweak my theme. I know I need to do some post headers as well. I went back through and deleted the majority of my old OOC posts. As of today (04/23/21), I am giving this blog a soft reboot by wiping all of my current threads in order to spark more muse and desire to be here. If we had a thread or threads going that you would like to continue that plot somehow, please do not hesitate to message me!
