Have you ever witnessed a profound love story which found its existence in a unique way? Well, that’s how I found mine. I call it unique because it’s not every day that you bump into a person in a place where it is least expected to fall in love - a library! Imagine finding your soul mate amidst the piles of books, lost in her own world and wanting to talk to her but, hey! “Pin drop silence” and nervousness doesn’t let you do so. However, when I saw her playing crosswords, the crossword enthusiast within me just couldn’t hold back and I started a conversation with her. I was on cloud nine on finding a wordsmith who shared my love for word search puzzles. We started playing along and things turned out to be in my favor and very soon we got hitched because of the strong bond we had developed during our courtship days with crosswords.
I remember playing crosswords with her daily. We even had gone a notch higher and started playing online crosswords. Just a click and we would get lost in the enticing and intricate world of word search puzzles. However, with her demise, life came to a standstill. Yes, she succumbed to cancer. But, that didn’t belittle my love for her. After all, love doesn’t die with people, does it? Her visuals are still fresh in my mind. How she kept smiling throughout her painful struggle! She never gave up on life but, alas! Life gave up on her. In fact, she was so full of positivity that she insisted playing crosswords even during her chemo sessions. The numbing pain of chemotherapy wouldn't affect her fighting spirit and we used to play online crosswords puzzles while she fought cancer bravely.

She is gone now and crossword without her is not the same. Though, I still play Wealth Words, just for her! With 20 correct puzzles in Division 1, second-highest correct answer in Division 2 and 25 correct answers in the super word puzzles, I have completed it all and earned cash prizes as winnings. Not that money makes me happy but, it would definitely make my dream come true. A dream of helping cancer patients fight their battle with ease and emerge as survivors. My love couldn’t survive cancer but, she wanted others to do that. So, here I am, playing my heart out with Wealth Words and putting my winnings in the treatment of cancer patients who need it the most.
