FAQ, Regulations and Tribute Registration
Welcome back, everyone! It's the Pharloomblr Games 2: Electric BUGaloo!
Of course, before we actually start the games, it's important to check out this FAQ, especially for those who are new/didn't participate last time. Please give this a read! It's mostly the same as last time, but with some alterations.
What’s the Pharloomblr Games?
Simply put, it’s a version of Hunger Games but done with members of the Pharloomblr, aka Hollow Knight/Silksong Tumblr roleplay community. This event is carried out using the BrantSteele Hunger Games simulator, a random text generator.

I’ve never heard of that simulator! How does it work?
This simulator acts like an incorrect quotes generator, where you are allowed to input the names of any characters you like and then subsequently, those names would be randomly inserted into a random sentence the simulator chooses.
Here’s an example if you still don’t understand:
Goldie, Leela (<-your input characters)
Goldie runs away from Pilgrim’s Rest. / Goldie takes a pin from Pilgrim’s Rest. / Goldie and Leela fight for a needle. Leela wins and runs. (possible events)

Can events be customized?
Absolutely! All events can be changed to keep it Silksong themed. This includes event names, general events, and fatal events.
Wait! The simulator doesn’t allow gender neutral pronouns and neopronouns!
Unfortunate but true. Because of this, I’m defaulting all events that need pronouns to use they/them (ex. Dander accidentally pricks themself while picking berries; but he uses he/him). However, host commentary will use your character's correct pronouns where necessary.
Please respect this. If you’re not okay with it, don’t sign up.
How’s the violence level?
Medium to canon-typical, could be high sometimes.

Are there any rules to know about before registering?
1. Each mod can only register a maximum of two characters/blogs. This is to let more people join without one mod swamping the places with all their characters; plus can slightly accelerate the registration system. If you run a plural blog/blog with more than one character, register only up to two of your goobers.
Those who fail to follow this rule will have one/two of your registered characters randomly selected by me if you don't change your reblog in time upon request.
2. It doesn’t matter whether your character is canon or OC, from Hollow Knight or Silksong. All Pharloomblr members are welcome to participate! This also includes typical enemies, higher beings and children (because it's funny to watch a child kill a god with a knife /silly)
3. If you have participated in the previous Pharloomblr Games, you are welcome to join again! However, please register only blogs that did not participate last game.
4. Register only following the method stated below. It’s simple, don’t worry.
All you need to do is reblog this post! Tag your blog, tell me the name of your character(s), and give me the secret passcode in the following format. It’s hidden in this post!

How many characters can join in total?
According to the poll results in the Pharloomblr community, only 36 are allowed! After I get enough participants, I will mention it in a reblog. Any registrations after the aforementioned reblog will be ignored.
How will this event be carried out?
This is a passive event where participants don't have to actively contribute/compete. All you have to do is cheer your blogs on!
The events of each day of the games will be posted on this blog as screenshots, accompanied by the games’ hosts’ commentary (as seen last time, these hosts are my blogs!). If you want to be caught up on updates, you can follow this blog! Anyway, I’ll most likely reblog to the community every time a new post is made.
How often will updates be posted?
Unlike last time, updates will be posted weekly or bi-weekly. The events will also be posted in batches, which would be day and night events plus death counts (or, if it happens, the special event) all in one post.
Oh, no! My character died :(
Not to worry, your character (and blog)’s death is non-canon! Keep playing tuoys and be silly even after your death, it’s fine :D
Can I make fan content of the games?
Absolutely! Sprite edits, doodles etc. are very much welcome. You may post it in a reblog of the day’s post, or as a separate post altogether! Tag it as #the pharloomblr games.

The secret passcode, like before, are all the random letters scattered throughout this post put together! However, "secret" is not a strict term here. As long as you made sure to read this post (especially the registration section), you can just add the passcode into your reblog without DM-ing.
