People haven´t still realized what a great gift Alan Rickman gave before he left us. He gave “Eye In The Sky” and he was so great in it, but people rarely talk about it. It`s unfair and incomperhensible. All of the cast were amazing and did a great job. Definitely one of my favourite movies with late great and unforgettable Alan Rickman.

Countless of people love him, but only few understand the depth of his Soul and respect his Talent the way it should be. And at the same time he had so much more for everybody to discover, that something special people will actually never be able to see. And I guess that`s also how it should be.

I wish people would talk more about his theatrical work and about his movies, except Harry Potter. Way too much Potter and Snape stuff everywhere! He did so much before that and it should be noticed more. He was an exceptional Actor and not just a Harry Potter actor.

I love how Theresa Rebeck says her honest opinion about Alan Rickman and I love that side of him. It`s awesome! Artists are difficult and challenging in a positive way. That`s what true artists are about. They have big personalities and have a strong point of view about what they like and what not. They can`t be Great, if they don`t have these qualities.
People (mostly women) talk about Alan Rickman. But mainly they talk about his looks. And then of course about his portrayal of Snape in Harry Potter. They talk about his clothes and scarves and about his private life. And then about his looks again. Everyone seem to be fine with that. But what if he had different looks, but the same talent? Would they talk about him then as well? I doubt it. Attractive looks to him were a blessing as much as it was a curse. A blessing because thanks to that he got so many female fans and admirers, and a curse because these fans didn`t actually admire him because of his talent, but just because of his looks. I haven`t seen anyone talk about Alan Rickman as a theatre legend or as a director for a long time. No deep developing conversations or discussions about his work, about a certain play or a film. Nothing. They only mention: Oh, he did this, he did that. He played there and there. He was so sexy in it” And admirers of his Talent are mostly silent, because they have no one to talk to. But his work has given so much to talk about. And he, as an actor and a director, has given plenty to talk about. Most people just don`t see that. And it's a shame.

March 27 is the World Theatre Day. It is dedicated to all people, who are involved with theatre, one way or another. It also gives a wonderful opportunity to remember and honour theatre giants, who have left us. One of them is Mr. Alan Rickman, who has left us great amount of theatre work that deserves to be cherished and honoured. All of you here, who cares about his theatre work, can help me with this, by just reblogging my posts or give your own contribution by posting your own thoughts about him. First and foremost, he was a theatre actor and he should be remembered by that way.
A lovely fact about Alan Rickman to get it started: He was a patron of Mousetrap Theatre Projects. It is a theatre education charity dedicated to bringing the magic of theatre into the lives of disadvantaged young people.
