I know many people have been enchanted with Giga 2024 Spring's artwork (who wouldn't be?!) and considering they are Japan exclusive, now is your chance! I haven't seen any of that conversation floating around, but gosh how you've presented it sure makes it sound silly. As if rivalry can never be healthy and rivals can't care about each other 😂

That idea is so utterly divorced from the reality of how rivalries are depicted in anime. Rivals are meant to be people who challenge each other and help each other grow. They are reflections of each other and materialize each character's ambitions and dreams. How the hell has any of that changed? Does anyone really believe Izuku or Katsuki have stopped dreaming of being the best heroes?

And "Don't let me surpass you!" sounds like a playful challenge, like "Ooooh I'm catching up! Whatcha gonna do?" or something. I don't see how it reads any different than
