Quel'thalas was always a fairly open country with regards to sexuality and same-gender relationships and polyamory, but after the fall of Silvermoon it's become even moreso. There's always been an "it takes a village to raise a child" mindset, but especially now. While many people are focused on repopulating, a lot of same-gender couples have had the long-awaited opportunity to adopt children of their own, instead of just helping to raise their sibling's and neighbor's kids.

(Because I'm Wranduin trash) When Anduin changed the marriage laws of Stormwind (and most of the Alliance), some got up in arms about it. Let me tell you, Wrathion very not-so-nicely threatened their lives. They started rethinking and got over themselves real quick. When word got around to the Horde, they actually had a mini-celebration! The Horde had never needed those laws, but they were happy because even if the people of the Alliance were their enemies, they could be more of who they were.

Velen and Illidan had a fling on Argus. When Illidan refused to come home with the rest of them, it saddened Velen (that line about him being nothing without the hunt broke his heart) but he's been taking comfort in knowing he was able to bring joy to a tortured man, if only for a little while. And being with Illidan reignited a fire Velen thought extinguished with his wife's life.

The final boss of BfA is the hidden old god called Odab'saroth and every time you try to warn somebody that Odab'saroth exists, you mysteriously dissapear.

Sorry, just going to re-phrase (clumsy tired me): It was Anduin's idea to have pets in the Stormwind emissary. Given he's ace and doesn't therefore have a romantic partner to be with in the evening, he loves having cuddly (fluffy) company. Genn gets on ridiculously well with the puppy; Tyrande and Moira low-key try to outdo each other for the kitten's affection. Velen brings treats, of course.
