It was really interesting to learn that it was one of the first songs Daniel Hart wrote for the show. And the line “My dear Gaa-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga” actually inspired the writers to emphasise Lestat’s stutter throughout the whole season. DH: “What a serendipitous thing. It wasn't my intention to make the stutter a big part of the show; it just made sense for the song, and then Rolin took that and made it make sense for the rest of the show.”

It’s also a good example of why Daniel Hart was such an important part of the writers’ team.
