Expecting premium prices for food at the festival, I packed cans of beans and corn.  Unexpectedly, the food was only around 30 rand AKA 3 bucks.  I left the festival with all but one can that I brought. But hey, you can never be too prepared right?

Four days, three nights, and a whole lot of fun. The situation was not perfect by far but the experience was priceless (in fact it was a steal priced at only 60 USD). Whether it was enduring howling winds, freezing nights, or sunny days with sun burnt faces, this was by far the best weekend in Cape Town.  Music constantly floated in the wind as I drifted asleep to Blink 182 throwbacks. I was snug squished along side Long and Emma in our 'two man' tent from Shoprite.  In the mornings I woke up to beads of water dripping from the tent since our little $20 tents couldn't handle the temperature changes.  Boisterous voices shouted at friends to wake up already even though it was only 7 am.  I heard some of the best lies to wake friends including "it's 12 already!" and "there's a fire".  Food, music, dancing, sleep, and do it all again.

Whenever it's sunny, it's time to hit up Clifton Beach 4.  It's a great place to escape from the wind...and reality.
