Pact au where an established therapist is offered a luerative sum to move to Jacob's Bell. The locals are a bit... odd, but they seem perfectly polite and cordial, and a fair few have dropped by to be friendly. The Duchamp clan clearly has something going on and the new guy really does not want do know what it is, but Sandra seems to hold a lot of sway in town and she brought the new guy a fresh apple pie as a welcoming gift. Officer Benhaim and his family all seem to be straight shooters. New guy got turned around in that one rich neighborhood, but that Johannes fellow got him turned right around.

It's after about a year of establishing himself in Jacobs Bell that he gets an invitation from Sandra and Officer Benhaim to an event at the church. A monthly event, they said. Turns out the last year they've been silently evaluating new guy to see if he would be fit to be Awakened, and take new clients, both Practitioner and Other. Flash forward several weeks, this poor guy has done the Ritual, he's been given a demense office, and now he needs a therapist, because he has the weight of knowing that if he says one wrong thing he could be Foresworn, and now he's sitting across from Rosalyn Thorburn describe some of the horrors demons are capable of and if this guy is now weighing the pros and cons of all that money they gave him.

I remember one time I got INSANELY high off of edibles while playing Among Us, and it quickly became apparent to the other players online. I forget how honestly but literally anything "sus" I did was ignored by everyone because I was so fucking high. I tested this theory by standing in front of a body and the person that actually reported it didn't even mention me. The funniest part was when I was trying to do wires, I kept fucking up over and over again, so I was just standing in front of wires for actual minutes trying to figure it out. A small crowd of players gathered around me to watch and would get mad every time someone reported a body or emergency meeting because "she's never going to get her tasks done if you keep interrupting them." I don't think anyone cared about winning at that point, they just wanted to see the high crew mate succeed in her tasks.
