flying out today!! super bitiiiin. i would love to extend if not for all other commitments we have in mnl. i have a face to face powerBi training tomorrow and friday, then we have our staycation (summer outing ng office) this weekend. then our tennis clinic for advanced beginner will start next tuesday! ahhh!! busy May!! then we’ll be flying to coron june2!

just like that, a year has passed. we still miss youu dearly, and there were still days where my tears keep coming, a wave of emotions crushing me, but most days, i remember you on the littlest things. how you love the colors pink and yellow, the macaroni whenever we eat in kfc, some streets we usually go around in manila— or how you would always prep during easter sundays.. there would always be a variety of kakanin at the table and yesterday, we all had a feast of food reminiscent of what you used to make for us— suman with beans and macapuno, menudo and shanghai.

spent my morning (7-10am) doing pickleball (athletic) training! glad that the coach we booked incorporated strengthening and conditioning before we hit some balls. super sulit! ate a quick lunch then attended a tennis sesh naman after 🤣

im so surprised coz i dont remember sending in any application recently. especially that i feel like im just starting to get my mojo back in terms of work productivity. like the past year feels like im floating. it was only the past quarter that i feel like im having that drive back again.

and then surprise! i have internal panel interview on friday!! chatted my office bff who im on same level with if he also got an interview. and he did!! we can only hope that both of us get promoted! i wish this is only a formality for a PLCA (like an automatic promotion) but if not, then we have to accept what ever the result is. who ever gets in, gets in and i’d be happy whatever..i just hope i get to answer all questions with full confidence and of the best of my ability.

even before your retirement, learn to live below your means. sabi niya, years before she retire, she’s already sending 40% of her salary for auto deduction to add to her retirement fund. whatever’s left ay yun lang ang binabudget/gastos nya. so by the time she retires, sabi nya, she doesn’t need to cut down on her lifestyle coz mas malaki pa raw pension niya now kesa sa take-home nya when she was still working. sabi pa nya, i dont actually live down, i live-up pa nga eee!! she’s not forced to work again (as a consultant) coz she doesn’t need to!

now she enjoys working out daw sa gym kaya napansin nya na she has better stamina coz dati daw when she’s working wala syang time mag gym. nakakatuwa at nakaka inspire!!

felt cute today 🤣 chill pickle at the office early this morning then accompanied hubs to his dupr pickle. all goood.
