Day 2

Meandering through the Mooney’s Brooklyn neighborhood.

Coffee, farmers market.

1st. WNBA game. And it was game 1 of round 1 playoffs. Liberty vs. Dream.

What an amazing atmosphere and show. And the home team WON!

Afterwords we walked and snacked our way home. Starting with amazing shrimp tacos from a food truck.

Dipping into Bee’s Knees for a dozen oysters each. Finishing the night with some delicious pizza from F & F. Not sure what the Fs stand for.

All the while having great conversations with Mooney about life, experiences and relationships. I was finally able to share what I’ve been going through for the last few months and it is such a relief. To connect with someone and not feel alone is an incredible gift. Thank you MoonDog🖤

Day 2 NYC

My first WNBA game. NYC Liberty vs Atlanta Dream

It was a blow out for the #1 ranked Liberty. But a fun energetic game. The atmosphere was electric. They know how to put on a show. Pretty cool to see these athletes that I’ve been watching for years on TV in person. Amazing athletes.

Had a great day with MoonDog. We had some great in depth conversations about relationships and where we are in our lives now. It felt good to be able to share what I’ve been going through and how I feel. I no longer feel alone. I feel good. 🖤

Well here I am back to rediscover myself. Day 1 in NYC visiting and hanging with my friend Mooney!

There’s something to be said about generational friendships. If you have a chance to become friends with someone either younger or older than you don’t let societal opinions get in the way of such a friendship. They’re far too valuable.

New mix up on Mixcloud. This is the last mix I made with Bruci aka Bruce Wayne. He’d always join me for a recording session. He just seemed to love the bass. He’d either be right under the computer (as close to the action as possible ) or sleeping soundly on the top of the couch.

I believe numbers have meaning. The original title of this mix is 177. Bruci was our 1st cat and 77 was my dad’s #. I believe they’re doing their thing watching over us from the spirit world.

Today we said goodbye to our little guy. Bruce Wayne who had many Aka’s, Batman (for obvious reasons),Chirp (Because when you tapped his butt he chirped), Motor (the volume of his forever purr)and of course Bruci. He gave us 6yrs of pure joy and unconditional love of the highest level. He convinced non-cat lovers that they were cat lovers. And of course he was a great big brother to James Bond. Bruci you will be missed. We love you and you are forever in our hearts...🖤💜❤️
