If there’s one thing that pulls me out of my funk, it’s a new issue of Ice Cream Man. It’s 40 issues in and getting close to beating out Morrison’s Doom Patrol run as my all time favourite comic book.
Just thought about something...
Maybe I've spread myself too thin.
Thanks to my parents, I was all sports as a young teenager, when I really wanted to read and learn. I juggled both in my late teens and couldn't find a centre, so ditched them both and got heavily into music. Did the same thing and chased everything with that, listening to everything, buying everything, Doing, playing and 'producing' my own stuff. Moved around, leaving behind a string of failed relationships, whilst hiding my inner nerd as that wasn't cool back then. Where were all the DnD YouTube channels when I was a kid? Now in the last 15 years I've dropped everything apart from my comics and listening to music, but I think it's all too late... Part of me thinks I should have been this way in my early 20's and built some sort of career around it, rather than flitting from one thing to another..... I don't know. I'm so lost.
I'm so tired...
Tired of working, tired of being in constant pain every day, tired of constant interruptions in my day to day life.
I know that I have a pretty easy life right now, but I've chosen that.
I'm single by choice, I'm childless by choice, I'm a hermit by choice....but it's not enough.
I want to be completely alone and isolated, with just an internet connection between me and the outside world. I don't want a neighbour next door, I want them to be 2 miles away down a forest path. I don't want to be able to hear traffic noise or anyone else's music.
I don't know.....
Time to update
Bought a domain name, as I wanted to start my own website.
As usual, got bored within 20 minutes so I gave up and decided on a new course of action. Tumblr!
Just stay here and blog away, as that's pretty much all I wanted to do anyway. So, there will be photos of my LCS purchases, photos of cool covers and interior panels, lists and reviews of music I've been listening to and stuff like that....

Not everything I ordered had been delivered to my LCS. So no Hellblazer this week. But, the deluxe edition of These Savage Shores did arrive and it’s glorious.

More Saturday comics. I enjoyed everything, but the Swan Songs was my pick of the week. W. Maxwell Prince is tying with Ram V right now as my fave writer. Tales of Syzpense could be better if it was all Les Morts 13, but we can't have everything.
