It’s interesting to see how people here are so focused on criticizing Bollywood movies for having white girls (or any non-Indian women, for that matter) as background dancers…but does no one else realize that they are almost always portrayed as inferior? They are always the ones with the skimpy dresses and attires that the Indian dancers don’t wear, and are most of the times presented as “loose”. Bollywood literally treats any foreign woman like she’s dirt, so I honestly feel like that’s the actual problem. I say this because people make it seem like these non Indian girls are included because the directors think it’s better, when in reality they need someone else to wear or do things they feel are too inappropriate for their usual background dancers.

It isn’t all to shocking to hear that she didn’t have a ton of time to learn math, because if you were like fifteen and all your time was spent in photo shoots and on press tours you probably wouldn’t find a ton of time for homework, either. She’s been to hell and back through the media, and now she’s just trying to be a good mother. I absolutely respect the fact that she’s becoming more educated to help her sons, because that’s a devoted parent. There are parents out there who don’t care at all and would let their kid struggle alone, and it’s heartwarming to hear about parents who try their best not to let that happen. Leave her be.

and honestly, majority of y’all parents would get mad and try to pretend like it’s your fault that you ain’t get your math homework long before pre-algebra… like, the introduction of times tables era. so, snaps and spirit fingers to her for having the opportunity to help her child better and actually taking it.

The most dangerous thing society teaches boys and men, especially white boys and men, is that their emotions are objective logic and reason and that anyone who disagrees is being irrational.
