to just close my eyes with the sound of her breathing on the top of my head while it lay against her chest.

to feel her skin against mine, warm and sweaty but oh so safe. rubbing my fingers across the sun kissed, life worn skin above her breasts.

to smell all of her right next to me, her breath, her skin, her laundry detergent, her shampoo, is so comforting.

to look up with sleepy eyes and see hers looking back at me. the prettiest blue you’ve ever seen.
