i think its a lil sad how often people will like restrain themselves from exploring new identities and hobbies because they don't want it to be an "embarrassing phase" because honestly i think its way cooler to have a diverse and varied lifestyle that you can look back on and say "omg i used to love doing that!" and apply those skills and interests to something else.

John Hamm is expecting his first child at 55, so I wonder if we’ll get a series of headlines and outrage cycles about the moral dilemma of delaying fatherhood. How will he keep up with a toddler on nearly 60-year-old knees? 😔 And how will the child be affected by not having their paternal grandparents around as they grow up? 😔 if only John hadn’t selfishly chosen to have a career…
