it couldn’t REALLY be said that the wolf was RUNNING – sure he was moving at a brisk pace or whatever, but he was definitely moving. the wolf only STOPS realizing he’s being followed — see, the wolf stumbles over his own paws, falls over into a bush and NOW he’s covered in burrs, sticks and bandit’s ALMOST confident that he has a rock in his fur. he WAS having a good night! golden eyes are wide and oddly human.

“What gave ya that idea?” Harley cackled. “Course it ain’t my car.” She clicked her tongue as she accelerated toward the local docks. Technically, she wasn’t allowed to drive due to her many, many vehicle related crimes she’d been involved in. Harley had never let that stop her, though. She’d never bothered with a fake ID to drink when she was younger, but she sure as shit had a fake driver’s license to get around that little problem.

“So what I’m thinkin’ is this,” Harley began, not only incapable of remaining silent for long but also the type of person to think out loud. “What we’re gonna do is take buddy boy back there to the river and toss ‘im in the drink. Like a good old fashioned gangsta movie.” She giggled, the sound ever so slightly manic. Oh well. “Then we’re gonna getcha home and after I drop ya off, I’m gonna see if I can find the address of the car’s owner.” It had to be on the registration or maybe a piece of junk mail left behind. She cut a quick glance toward her companion. “Don’t ya worry. I ain’t gonna hurt ‘em. Just gonna take the car back, park in their drive way or whatever, and then call an uber or somethin’.”

Man though, would she kill to be a fly on the wall. She was probably ruining someone’s night, yet she had to bite her lower lip to keep from laughing. She couldn’t help it! Just thinking about whoever it was, she imagined it was a guy judging from the lack of a particular feminine touch. No extra sunglasses or half melted lipstick in one of the console cubbies; no cheap perfume for a quick freshen up or an extra tampon as yet to be found. How incredible would it be to see the poor bastard’s face when he saw his car at home?

“You got a name, sweetie? I’m Harley.”

— }{ SHE LAUGHS LIGHTLY in reply. she’s still tense. there had been very few people who had actually seen her feed and many of them hadn’t been so ... relaxed about it. the woman was odd, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. there were worse things to be than ‘odd’. she doesn’t even bother to clip in her seat belt. it wasn’t as if a crash could easily kill her. though that doesn’t mean she doens’t jolt when harley speeds away from the alley.

when the woman starts to speak, lise’s gaze turns from streets to the blonde. the vampire’s eyes are more settled now, light brown and far more human than they had been prior. the blonde laughs and lise’s lips pull into a smile. ❝ that ... sounds good to me. suppose it is better than just leaving him in the alley. ❞ her head tilts a little as harley continues, a slight concern creasing her freckles features. ❝ are you sure you won’t be caught? ❞

she wouldn’t want to get the girl in more trouble. it was bad enough that she was helping in disposing a body. she flusters a little at ‘sweetie’, then replies: ❝ lise. ❞
